[history]
Portland, Ore. -- As a worldwide manhunt intensified Saturday for two fugitives believed to be members of an al Qaeda cell here, residents expressed grave concerns that there may be terrorists in their midst.
The fugitives are among six people indicted in what federal authorities said was a conspiracy to provide aid to the Taliban and Osama bin Laden's terrorists. Three of those indicted were arrested in Portland on Friday. A fourth was arrested in Michigan.

From CNN:
While in London on one trip, Ujaama attended the Finsbury Mosque, where Hamza preaches, officials have said. Zacarias Moussaoui -- the only person facing a public U.S. trial in connection with the September 11 attacks -- and Richard Reid, who is accused of trying to blow up a flight with explosives in his shoes, also have attended the mosque. Ujaama also traveled to Afghanistan in 1999 to study Islamic code, according to family friends.
Yeah, that's it, we are all just studying...
No one ever got into trouble by just studying, right?

""The reaction is, 'Why are they doing this to this community?' There's fear and concern," said the mosque leader, who declined to give his name. "Muslims are looked upon differently. People are rethinking, 'Should we even live in the United States.' " NOPE!!!
The Muslims may accomplish one good thing in this country and that is to illustrate the phonyness of the PC BS! They have a right to blow us up and kill us without being LABELED!! Screw'em!! Go home you stinking bastards!!

Don't let the door hit your *ss on the way out.

There is a lot of "Muslim go home" being expressed on this link.
Not a problem in itself, but the names and faces of many of these specific suspects are American...
Borders aren't the only thing we need to see addressed!

How are we supposed to deal with potential terrorists in our midst, or even sympathizers. I go to Washington Square mall and see these people in their hajibs or whatever.
To: sarcasm
"One person in Seattle and four to nine in Portland is hardly an international terrorist cell in operation," I live only about 2-3 miles from these vermin. They congregate on the sidewalks. The mingle in stores. And in a tight maybe 10 square block area they have perrty much taken over. Additionally, they have "cells" all around town.
Afterall, this is Portland, Oregon. The same Portland filled with 60's radical leftists in the government, that now while a little grayer, still advance a "progressive" approach to government that is very similar to the Marxism we were warned about as kids in the 50's.
Taxes at levels even this country's federal governement did not impose. Creeping control over peoples property rights. A Gay agenda that resembles San Francisco. Meatless weekdays proclaimed by the idiot mayor. Leather pride celebrations. Yet no money or interest in protecting and defending the area from terrorists.
But that is simple -- the terrorists are running things!

The old good cop, bad cop routine. Radical islam = left hand, peaceful islam = right hand. Squeezing America to re-shape it like a piece of clay. Convert to their 'peaceful' ways or die. In this case, the potters (plotters) are attempting to re-shape a rock, not a handful of clay. Ambitious, but fatal.
(Note to the religion of peace: If your left hand offend thee, cut it off before you break both your hands. Rocks break scissors, you know. Khomeini had it wrong and so do you.)

"There are people who are first generation (immigrants) who no doubt have sympathy with those who have attacked us," Mandaville said. "But that doesn't make them terrorists." Yes it does a$$hole, YES it does!

"The reaction is, 'Why are they doing this to this community?' " [said an anomous mosque leader]
Who is THEY, I wonder? Certainly, the anonomous mosque leader IS NOT referring to the arrested terrorists.
""One person in Seattle and four to nine in Portland is hardly an international terrorist cell in operation," said Jon Mandaville..."
Just more "practical jokes" planned by our fun loving Muslim friends?

Battle and Lewis, whose neighbors said moved into their Portland apartment complex last spring, worked as nursing assistants at a nursing home.
Uh, I believe Ms. Lewis also interned twice for the Mayor of Portland. Why'd they leave that out?

"I wonder if the Portland chief of police is still asleep."...Or perhaps hiding under his desk, repeating "I will not profile. Islam is the religion of peace. I will not profile. Islam is the religion of peace. I will not profile. Islam is the religion of peace..." over and over again.
