How about "Homeland Defense" starting with the Birder Patrol getting the manpower needed to control our borders?

I always thought that the Defense Department was a Homland Defense department, but I guess it is just a foreign war department.

It would appear so.

...We are all from TN and hunting was a way of life with us...

You wouldn't hardly be the first woodsrunnin' feller from Tennessee to throw in his lot with those in the troubled border areas. There was a gent named Davy Crockett, a former congressman from Tennessee, who died in the Alamo fight and is still thought of pretty highly in Texian circles.

If you really do want to go down that way and lend those folks a hand, the way Colonel Crockett set the example for us, it can be arranged. He didn't head down that way alone when he left Tennessee for those parts from Memphis, and I don't reckon we should either.

Nor did he go there looking for a fight. But when one came his way, he didn't run from it, neither.

See you in Texas.

That agent returned fire

Give that man a medal

Even better: give him a handgun he can depend upon. See Border Patrol warning info *here* and *here*.

"Go take a little blue pill and get back into your circle jerk... "

I take offense to your statement. If you're not mature enough to discuss a subject rationally then just keep quiet!

Nothing to see here. The GOP wants the 'latino vote', and sacrificing a few boder patrol agents is a small price to pay. Send in your donations and pipe down.

Pie, it's not going to be an issue at all. The elites have spoken, they know what's best and you don't.

Get used to the Diversity, learn a couple of new languages, send in your money and vote as you've been told.

The reason so many shootings, beatings (remember the Sunland train robbery) and attacks by Mexican illegals on US authorities are taking place is simple: they no longer fear the US authorities.

Well said.

That is certainly a way to lose. Are we losers, apathetic, arm chair conservatives? I reject that.

Just expressing my frustration. At one time I used to think the border wasn't addressed simply because greater issues came first, the Cold War and all that. More than a decade of working with the issue has taught me that immigration is in near anarchy because the leaders of both Partys intend to keep it that way.

I understand your flustration, but a decade ago you didn't have the coverage you do now, so now is not the time to stand still or retreat.

Ten years ago I didn't understand the dangers of illegal immigration or out of hand immigration, now everyone is talking about it, at work, at home, even out in public there is growing anger about it. This issue will not be able to be ignored anymore. We owe a huge thanks to Tancredo, so we still have some patriots in government. It's like turning the Titanic, but it can be turned, it must be.

I hope you're right. I haven't given up, but I am far less patient with those who still accommodate illegal immigration and the Balkanization of the Southwest. Or is it now the Balkanization of the whole country? There is no excuse anymore, the problem of border anarchy is obvious to even the most dedicated liars populating the GOP's legion of hacks.

Both. I think that there are going to be several regional presidents within the emerging hemispheric government.

Until they are ready to merge into ONE.
