[Under the Radar]

I have to admit I am honestly confused here. Palestinian teenage boys act like too many teenage boys-- dumb, violent, and defiant. They throw rocks. They get shot by Israelis. Conservatives say that this is to be expected, since these boys come from a murderous culture.

Here in the US we also have dumb, violent, and defiant teenage boys. If they were shot by our government, would we say that this is what they get for throwing rocks? I don't understand the double standard. Would someone please explain this to me?
