President Bush has already completed the 1st mission destiny assigned him......keeping Gore from becoming President...
His second mission is to keep Hillary from becoming President....
His crowning achievement, for which he will be eternally recognized --- Is to defeat militant Islam.

Hillary, with all her smarts and political savvy hit the Senate floor again after reading this book and did her "My constituents still have the right to know, what did Bush know and when did he know it" routine. It seems the book talks about how disbelieving and hurt the President was when Hillary first did this song and dance for the Senate.
She is defiantly arrogant and stupid.

My favorite line:
"How can people so smart, and whose views are so popular, be beaten so often by someone so clueless?"
I was discussing this with my intelligent, but very liberal mom the last time she was in town. Whenever someone even casually mentioned Dubya you could almost see steam coming out of her ears. The liberals contempt for him is fun to watch because it is so irrational.
Finally I gave her and her people a tip:
"Democrats are falling into the same trap they did with Reagan. One one hand, they accuse Bush of being a drooling moron. At the same time, they characterize him as an evil genius (he's manufacturing wars, creating elaborate geopolitical machinations to steal oil, etc.). You guys are just going to settle on one of these mutually exclusive positions, then run with it."
The blank stare was hilarious. They can't admit he's smart enough to concoct elaborate evil plans. But they also can't allege he's just a nice, dimwitted guy because that would reflect positively on his character. So they continue to spin themselves into a frenzy that even they can't make sense of.
Wow, it's going to be a fun two terms :-)

"Bush's other destiny is driving Democrats nuts"...Considering how the previous occupant of 1600 Penna Ave drove us equally as nuts, I'd say "paybacks are a real terror, aren't they..."

ping for a good read!

I'm half way through "Fighting Back" by Bill Sammon and it's so obvious how shallow and fake the Clinton's are. I read about GWB ordering the press out of the area where he was meeting the loved ones of the missing in the WTC and how they sceduled 1/2 hour visit by the POTUS and he was there for 2 1/2 hours. It's clear to me! that there is nothing phony or plastic about our President. Bill and Hillary would have eagerly invited the Press and the Camera's to the same private event and taken political advantage of the sadness of those who were still praying for their loved ones to somehow rise from the smoldering remains of the WTC.
I HATE THEM

Did Gore ever say why?
'Cause he's got fat fingers. Fat fingered Al, put some ice on it.
Kinda like a cartoon character that blows up (inflates) his hand after he somehow flattens it.

Yep, I am so glad my first vote for a Republican president was for George W. Bush. It is so fun to watch him & his administration, with his/their character and intelligence, driving the Democrats nuts! They just can't figure him & his admin. out. They're incomprehensible aliens to the Dems - speaking incomprehensible things, expressing alien thoughts.

"Did his handlers tell him to do that or was he improvising?"I believe that Naomi Wolfe and his daughter Karena were his handlers at the time, and they could have told him to do anything. As I recall, they were working on boosting his "alpha"index. That's probably what that bone-head move was all about.
However, Lehrer as moderator looked even worse than Gore. I honestly don't know why he was even there. He refused to hold Gore to the rules of debate.
