WASHINGTON – Katherine Harris will kick off a national publicity tour for her book, "Center of the Storm," on NBC's "Today" show Monday, with other appearances on Fox News Channel, CNN, Sean Hannity's syndicated radio show, MSNBC and CBS.

"Center of the Storm" is the first book published by WND Books, a partnership between Thomas Nelson Publishers and WorldNetDaily.com. It provides a historical analysis of the remarkable dead-heat 2000 presidential election that turned on a few hundred ballots in Florida in which Harris, then Florida's secretary of state, certified George W. Bush the winner over then-Vice President Al Gore. The book details what Harris learned about life and leadership in those difficult days and months that followed the presidential election.

"I was not an expert on life and leadership when the storm broke around me on Nov. 7, 2000, nor during the turbulent 36 days that followed," writes Harris, now a candidate for a seat in the U.S. Congress from southern Florida. "Nevertheless, I learned a great deal about how to weather an unexpected storm. I discovered where to find the necessary moral reserves, where to turn for help, and how to address mistakes, while staying true to my fundamental convictions."

"We are very excited to provide the outlet for Katherine Harris to set the record straight and to unveil the woman behind the malaise, who found herself in the midst of extraordinary circumstances with the eyes of the world upon her," said Joseph Farah, co-founder of WND Books and editor and chief executive officer of WorldNetDaily, as well as a syndicated columnist.

Bump! Katherine the Great's new book is available exclusively from WND. If you love Joe Farah's editorials and the dozens of conservative and libertarian columnists on his website, you'll want to read all about Katherine Harris' role in the aftermath of the 2000 election. It couldn't be more timely in view of the New Jersey Supremes having given us a Florida Redux. Who says liberals learn from the past? They go right on shamelessly fixing and stealing elections like the 36 days the country was put through last time was a mere hiccup. Yeah let the Democrats slam Katherine; and we all know their attempt to lecture Republicans on political ethics is belied by their own conduct to the contrary then and now.

Hey Joe. I read the book.

It was pretty good, though it could have used some sylistic editing. Some real leadership stuff and I'm trying to get my friends to read it so they don't think she's a witch. This comingup blitz is gonna be great! I can't wait to see the look on Katie Colic's face ;)
