The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us this Wednesday, October 9, at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. as we freep a DNC fundraiser featuring x42.
The event is billed as an "All-Star Concert" and is called, I kid you not, "Every Vote Counts." The main draw is the lying, evil, rapist, traitor himself--Bill Clinton.
When: Wednseday, October 9, 2002 (John Lennon's birthday--Imagine there are no rapists) from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Where: The sidewalk in front of the Warner Theater at the corner of 13th Street and E Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
This is a permitted protest and the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect: No violence, no racism, no profanity, no threats, no provocations, do not block the sidewalk or street, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect. If you get into a "debate" with someone, do so at a respectful distance.
This promises to be a lively event. Have fun telling the truth to and about the 'Rats, but be careful.

Has anyone contacted Young Americans for Freedom to invite them along? As an old YAFer, I can tell you that this is right up YAF's alley.
They are at

Hi, Kristinn!
I plan to try to be there on Wednesday. I can take the marc train from Baltimore to Union Station in Washington, DC. But I will need a ride from Union Station to the theatre.
Can it be arranged?
I would really like to come to at least one of the DC chapter events.

OK, I gotta get into this. Snow Bunny, FTH is making fun of pretty little posts. I think it is a direct hit on the kind of stuff I see on the Great Canteen. Make her stop. Please. :-}

"But I will need a ride from Union Station to the theatre."
Pippin: fast, clean, cheap ($1.10) metro trains run from Union Station to Metro Station (2 subway stops on the redline). That takes you just a couple of blocks from the Warner Theatre, no problemo.
To: Pippin
Pippin and anyone else coming by Metro via Union Station: Warner Theatre is at 13th and E. Metro stop is at 12th and F or G. So when you leave the metro, you basically have to go south to E Street (slightly downhill) and maybe a little west and you should see the Warner Theatre.

You should try it some time. They have hot coffee and muffins and all kinds of things. Seriously, Snow Bunny is a FR treasure.

Thanks, FTH!

If I live that long. I've somehow gotten lost in a Freep thread where they're debating whether the local shooter is a "serial killer." Actually debating the point. Sigh. God save me and protect me.
