"Dump DAVIS!" FReep ALERT!!!

From an e-mail sent out earlier today:

**Tomorrow (10/3/2002) on the John & Ken Show, we take our $104,000 offer to Governor "Joe" Davis to his campaign office here in LA.

That's the payoff we're offering him to debate Bill Simon on our show.

The location is 9911 West Pico Blvd. on the westside (we'll be outside on the sidewalk).

Check our website ("Newslinks") for the area map.

We'll have the money and tofu berry shakes and more goodies that we think the "gov" just can't refuse.

That's Thursday (10/2) beginning at 3 PM.

If you can't make it, tune in and hear the party on KFI AM 640, More Stimulating Talk Radio!**

One of them (either John or Ken) thinks that the better Simon did in the polls, the worse the legislation Joe Davis would sign (like SUV tax), since Davis would feel he needed to shore up his liberal base. Davis doesn't stand for anything. If he cared about the environment, then he wouldn't have let Tosco dump the dioxin, so it's obviously all about polls and money.

RonDog is there as the eGray Hooker, so I doubt he will have internet access until afterwards. John and Ken described the eGray Hooker's outfit early in the show, and said they would have pictures on their website eventually. After the commercial break, they said he was the ugliest hooker they had ever seen. Now they're talking about other topics like Yemeni guys and islamic suicide bombing instructions, etc. not related to joe davis.

They'll present the "last and final offer" $104,000 check in the campaign HQ at 5PM, where davis collects his bribes. (KFI has news and commercials on the hour, so probably a few minutes earlier or later)

They heard an ambulance, and joked that someone dropped dead from the tofu berry shakes.

You can listen live at kfi640.com using RealAudio. The commercials are probably muted out, if it's like other online radio broadcasts, so there may be several minutes of silence every quarter hour or more often.

They found a thin art student named Harmony who eats tofu, but she said the berry-tofu shake tasted "funky." J&K asked her what would happen to someone's brains if he had that shake every day. Obviously it ruins one's creativity and ability to govern. Everyone else hated the drink. J&K mentioned two ambulances nearby, perhaps for those who gag on the drink.

A driver blared his car's horn as he drove past in the background, probably appreciating the Chicken and Hooker!

They are at 9911 W. Pico Blvd in LA (Century City). The nearby 76 gas station will allow free parking for those who want to stop by.

After the commercial break, they're going to talk about the dockworkers.

Go to this site, and click on the top picture. It will play the commercial for you all to see.

When I first saw it, I thought - good for them for helping him to not look so stiff--no ties and rolled up shirt sleeves--hair not so perfect, etc. But then....came the "I'm not a politician, I'm not perfect, but I'll clean up Sacramento. I'm Bill Simon."

I didn't want to say anything, because I'm sure they worked hard on it. It's good, except for him essentially apologizing for himself. You don't sell anything well by apologizing. You have to show strength and firmness of your convictions--show you can lead them out of their suffering. Tell people that you HEAR them and that YOU don't want to live like this anymore, either.

This equals: I feel your pain. I'm like you. I can lead.

One more thing...

From this commercial, we are left with:

I'm not...

I'm not...

but...

Not positive OR powerful.

eGray Hooker's

Reminds me of (and rhymes with) the 1980's TV cop show, starring William Shatner aka "Captain Kirk": T.J. Hooker

Also, see another eGray connectin here. William Shatner did ads for "Priceline.com".... Hmmmm... eGray: Name your price and you may have a deal.

They open every segment with a description of the "circus" and the people around their show, particularly RonDog's eGray Hooker costume -- fishnets, heels, black shorts, black tank top, red feather boa, gray hair and a davis mask (it's a beavis and butthead mask, I think, but I don't know which character is which). They also deliver a reminder of the food Davis eats by pointing out they have free food that includes what joe davis eats for breakfast and lunch.

They will attempt to deliver the oversized check in the next hour, so I expect it will be after the 5:00PM news break. Of course, I don't see why the Davis campaign HQ staff will let J&K into the offices to talk with the staff.

Maybe they could do a Priceline commercial about Davis. It's really similar -- make a bid, and you might get what you want. If you bid too low (pay too little), you lose. If you bid too high (give excess bribes), then you know you'll get what you want, just that you're wasting money.

On the other hand, the priceline commercials were annoying, so it's probably better not to parody them.

1-800-520-1KFI to call into the show. They are still talking about the dockworkers. (But, if you can't listen online, if the remote show is handled like a usual show, you might be able to listen on the phone while you're on hold.)

They can't find The Chicken, so perhaps he left, but the eGray Hooker -- RonDog -- will help present the $104,000 check in the next hour (5PM).

Maybe when Gray is out of a job this January, he could do Priceline.com ads. He has a lot experience at it and he's annoying, too.

They're going to try to go upstairs to the bribe-taking apparatus (the joe davis HQ) with The eGray Hooker to bring the oversized $104,000 check, if they can get into the building, after 5PM.

Reminder, the eGray Hooker will be at the debate at the LATimes on Monday!

RonDog interview again!
J&K mention the eGray hooker's outfit. black elbow gloves, cash stuffed everywhere, a silver chain around his neck with a dollar sign ($) pendant.

Chants by the crowd:
.....hey hey ho ho,
.....joe davis has got to go

The guards won't let them into the building.
They won't comment, either.

John is in the elevator, but the guard are holding the doors so that it won't go.

John, to the goons: who[m] do you work for? do you work for joe doofus? (repeated)

chanters, still chanting, get in the other elevator, also held open by the guards who finally figure out there are two elevators.

Looking for stairs. Fire escape? Finds some, and enters. But, it's a stairway to the parking garage. Finds a map of evacuation plan. Huffing and puffing as he climbs stairs.

Security guard coming for them from garage.

Ultimately, J&K are unsuccessful in bribe attempts.

Gray Davis has goons protecting him. Davis won't accept this bribe.

Bill Simon on the phone. Offers another 15,000. Total $119,000 now.

Simon doesn't know if Davis will even show up at the debate on Monday. Says davis missed seven promised engagements, such as some women's conference.

The only poll that counts is the one on November the 5th, and Simon will win.

All Davis' attacks are false. J&K ask about the "not perfect" commercial. Simon reminds them that he's a regular guy, and will work really hard for CA.

Wait until Monday, if Davis shows up!

Davis owes Simon 4 debates -- one for each failed year.

Davis' baggage: Over $25 billion energy contracts, and another $20 billion excess in the budget. Hired 11,000 people after institutine hiring freeze.

Simon asked if there's a sign in front of Davis' office: All businesses should leave CA now.
Another sign: All people should leave CA now.

J&K said two police officers walked by, probably called by the security guards. One of J&K says (jokes) he'll sue the guards for punching him twice. (at the time, he said the guard assaulted him, or touched him).

Tony Strickland is the one who sued Davis to release the amounts of his privately negotiated long-term energy contracts that he is trying to renegotiate.

The current total for Davis to debate on J&K is $129,000, including $45,000 to charity.

LAPD (with a car and a helicopter) told them they were trespassing by entering the building, so if they go in again, the LAPD will arrest them.

Will the new LAPD chief know better than to send a police helicopter on John and Ken?
