Just saw the replay on CSPAN and had the same impression. The President didn't do anything disrespectful towards the House Minority Leader, but it sure was worth a good laugh to try to read the President's thoughts from his facial expression.

What a great comment by you here with this paragraph:

I have always been told that abortion is for rape or incest. In this case, should not each woman who has an abortion, funded by my tax dollars, be required to identify the rapist or incestuous partner? Police should be at every Planned Parenthood clinic to file reports and then issue arrest warrants. This should definitely slow down the cases of mass rapes that apparently go unchecked in this country.

Reminds me of a bet that I made over two years ago with a whining left wing b$tch who has had several abortions due to her reckless behavior. I told her that I would give her planned parenthood abortion center $100 when they actually perform an abortion due to a rape or incest. She made the bet with me and hasn't called me in over two years for my $100 check. Everytime I see her, I ask if I should write out my check. She just glares at me.

Lets start with some house cleaning. Bomb California.

If we would do what Ann Coulter has urged, the libs in California (and Massachusetts and Connecticut) would sober up quite a lot, I think.

So, I say we need to bomb France.

Where do you get your political philosophy from? Caligula? Look, Bush is not a moral man. He is not a Christian, even though he claims to be one. He and his buddies are both pagan and power-mad.

You, to them, are an empty place. They don't care for your security. To swear allegiance to men like that is dangerous both for the world and for your own soul.

In fact, you have a duty to prevent the imperial government from committing mass murder. But all you care about is supporting your master. Because, why, he "protects" you from "evil". But he doesn't. Giving Bush power will take power away from you and make you weak.

It is "us" vs. "them" for you, as defined by the Caesar, of course. You are a fanatic, utterly incapable of having a thought that was not implanted into him by someone else. If you were living in the Soviet Union, you'd cheer for Stalin. In Iraq you'd gladly sacrifice your life for Saddam Hussain. You are a mass-man.

Are you a woman? A gyn/OB, perhaps? A nurse-midwife? Unless you have a functioning set of ovaries and a uterus or a professional education in same, you are simply bleating.

How many abortions have you experienced? How many pregnancies? How many births? How many have you attended professionally?

What do you know about a woman's reproductive health? Are you aware of the studies that show the more abortions prior to a live full term birth equals an increase in breast cancer? Or the ones that document that earlier childbirth equals healthier women and children? That children are healthier and happier and achieve better with a Mom around most of the time and a Dad who provides a strong male presence/role model? And this presupposes a 2-parent family capable of supporting and raising this child to a responsible adulthood. Did you have a 2-parent family?

Do you know or care that abortion weakens the cervix and makes subsequently carrying a child difficult, leading to increases in miscarriage when a woman wants children? Are you aware of the psycho-physiological effect on the body and the mind of being hormonally pregnant and then having that state precipitously reversed, either surgically or chemically?

Are you so selfish that only the sexual activity of young girls and women matters? That a resultant child is an inconvenience and has no advocate in the process? Do you think that society has a stake in future generations?

Please provide us with cites for your claim of what the President *wants*. AFAIK, the proposed program encourages marriage, which takes care of the *barefoot* part and, as others have told you, the rest is about responsibility. You might start with reading the proposals and then intelligently deconstructing them with points that actually have substance, instead of partisan scare-tactic talking points. That is how this is actually done in practice: there are commissions that study these proposals from a scientific and sound basis. There are hearings in committeee, where actual experts advise the legislators. It is educational work and everyone ought to try it. At the photo-ops, emotive partisans on all sides are invited to offer their anecdotes and the legislators all too often pander to the presumed constituents, but that is the froth of crafting policy decisions.

Not all processes and not all results are perfect and too many are guided by the self interest of those who need to be elected. Some are evil and some are benign, but adults need to examine the issue, not simply beat each other about the head w/slogans.

What you hear from your puppet masters are simply partisan talking points diluted down for the lowest common denominator's ability to remember and yell. They may sway others who have an ideological bias, but they simply have no depth. For those who lack the inculcated bias inherent in these throwaway lines, they are shallow, hollow and meaningless.
