As long as they wait until they are into the 60 day period before the elections

Don't forget, it's always 60 days before some election. One of the people working on the CFR suit pointed that out to me.

Justice (Nero?) asks that since Rats are asking for equitable relief, shouldn't the Court look at why Candidate is withdrawing? (Implying Torch had no good reason to withdraw).

Right now it looks like the court is asking all the correct questions.

q- Future "parade of horribles" as candidates are removed at whim, if we do it your way.

a- if you can fix it, fix it.

q- how do we exclude the use of this ruse (my word) simply for candidates who are LOSING

a- Judges shouldn't consider the cause of a vacancy!!!

q- B.S. (my word) we judges consider such factors all the time

I would say that several are asking questions, but it seems more like they want help in figuring out how to answer Republican objections and decide for the demonRATS.

I hope you are right, but doesn't it always look that way? The judges ask the tough questions which gives the lawyer a chance to present their argument. Example: Judge says, Why should we let you override the law, which clearly states the deadline? Lawyer says Because we really really want to. Judge says to self, Hmmm, I agree. Looks like the lawyer got hammered, but he didn't.

A right to a competitive election? I guess McConnell has to be removed from the ballot here in Kentucky, then, since he's way ahead of a weak Democrat opponent. Ridiculous.
