President Bush met with congressional leaders today to asks that they pass the Terrorism Insurance Agreement by Friday. Bush stressed the need to pass the measure so that 300,000 people could get back to work on $15.5 billion worth of projects that are on hold because of no insurance. The President also made it crystal clear that although an Iraqi inspection agreement is a step in the right direction, the Biden/Lugar resolution is just not strong enough. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Florida today to help promote reading. This evening, she is attending a fund-raiser for her brother-in-law, Jeb. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I hope your right. They sure seamed to have flipped their lids lately. I hope it is all a major sign of desperation.

I think many of you can back me up on the fact that I said 18 months ago that the democrats would go down in flames with Terry McAuliffe as the DNC chair. Now it's happening right before our eyes. McAuliffe only understands spin and lies. When you're a leader you have to stay above that kind of nonsense.
As I said last night... The reason why the RATS are imploding is because they have been outsmarted by GWB at every crossroad. The RATS have followed the talking points of Terry McAuliffe and it was to attack and obstruct. This has brought the RATS to where they are now and I appreciate the fact that George W. Bush didn't get into the mud with these losers, because all of us would of followed him in the swamp the RATS live in.
We have a LEADER... The RATS have a LOSER

I thought our friend, Mr. Colmes, was a bit difensive about the Morris remark. LOL. He was outed, IMHO.

I'm not thinking very "charitable" thoughts tonight about the Democrats. Amazing, isn't it? Just when you think they can go no lower, they end up in Baghdad and up their ends in New Jersey.

Let me just say this, if I were a Catholic tonight, there would be NO penance for what I am thinking now. :-)

Hey, I was thinking. Won't GW and Laura be celebrating their 25th year of marriage this year? We should have a special thread for them.

I'm amusing myself lately by wondering whether Gov. McGreevey will end up canceling the Senatorial election in New Jersey with the explanation being, "Well, we were behind in the polls. What else could I do?"I think they have realized that they can do whatever they want because their base is totally STUPID!

If the NJ Supreme courts allows this to happen elections are going to become messier then they already are. Both parties will start dropping canidates that are way behind in the polls and naming their own. I really feel the peoples right to choose their representatives is in serious trouble. These people are going to be choosing each other to run and we won't have anything to say about who is on the ballot.

. I think even the dims should be embarrased for her after "misery" song lastnight. Good evening, all!
Her rendition of "Miseries" was vicious and nasty. Can you imagine the outrage if a prominent Republican sang such a song about a Dem at a fundraiser? Lord knows they have given us plenty of ammunition for parody songwriting.

You got that right. This all started with Gore and his Florida shenanigans. The US is becoming a banana republic with its elections. It is infuriating but even more so, it's really very sad.

Thank You mtngrl,
with all that is going on lately and the Godless behavior coming from the democrats lately. It's nice to read your post and be reminded of who we truly need to thank and worship.
Thank You so much for posting this Psalm

I'm not thinking very "charitable" thoughts tonight about the Democrats.Me neither. I just hate the way they have no shame, how they bluff their way through what would otherwise be very embarrassing situations for honorable people. They just act like they have nothing at all to be ashamed of, and pretty soon nobody remembers that they did!
Who would think that president clinton would be elected after he told his girlfriend on tape to lie about their affair? Certainly not Gary Hart.
Who would think that president clinton would not feel like he had to resign the office of the presidency after abusing his power as president? Certainly not Richard Nixon.
