"Does Forrester get any equal time here? Anyone?"There was a time that equal time was done. It was overturned somewhere in the 93-95 area. Not sure.

(It's more like America is doomed because DemonCraps have destroyed the rule of law at every level, including in the selection of our government)
I think we have the Republicans in the Senate to blame, they started this garbage by going along with a sham trial for Clinton. The Republicans in the House had courage. The Republicans have brought this on themselves.

Five months ago, Torricelli's Senate seat was considered relatively safe. But support plummeted after he was admonished by the Senate ethics committee for his relationship with a 1996 campaign supporter, and he soon became the most vulnerable incumbent in the country.Ah, so it was just his relationship. No illegalities, no crimes, no bribes, no manipulation of the highest level governments in exchange for cash and gifts. Just a relationship.

right in front of our very eyes, in plain daylight.Don't you all see? It is just so clear. Torrecelli will run and he will win because of this little scheme of theirs.
The courts won't let him off the ballot and they know it. They have now chosen the crappiest candidate they could find so that after Torrecelli is forced to stay on the ballot, the voters will flood the polls to vote him in.
He didn't have a prayer before all this, and now he will be seen as a savior for NJ. Just watch.

The RATS are swirling down the toilet as we speek. This is the end for them for many years to come

I agree. In his remarks, Lautenberg struck me as someone who in his youth was an intelligent person. But now, he fumbled so badly it was almost embarrassing. I don't mean this to be cruel, but I found myself thinking whether, at 78, he's had mini-strokes that have caused some cerebral damage.

I think it would be fun to beat Tom Daschle about the head and shoulders for a few minutes.Get in line Bub!

Where is Donnie Di hiding tonight? And would someone please slap Alan Colmes for defending this outrage.

Not being honest about their dishonesty? Is someone going to say "Half the lies they tell about NJ politics aren't true!"?

Yeah, he is. But all he needs is to
be alive, walking & talking. At least
for now...

This cracks me up. I thought Torricelli agreed to withdraw provided someone other than Lautenberg took his place. Torricelli can't stand Lautenberg and vice versa. Looks like bobby has to learn the hard way - never make a deal with the devil, i.e., the dems. They will screw regardless.
Utterly shameless.
I HATE THE DEMOCRATS!

I'm doing everything I can to not get myself banned from FR.It's all I can do to keep my fingers from typing what I'm really thinking.Deja vu all over again. There goes Halloween, and I hope not Christmas and Thanksgiving again. My poor husband better get used to a dirty house,no food, and a wife that mutters something about "dirty Rat-B--tards.

If these Judges dont recuse themselves for that, the dems will probably pull this off at the state level.Do you think they will willingly? This is Jersey, for krissakes. A town run by the mob and the Torch and Louseybird.
I bet money is changing hands and dead deamoncraps are lined up to vote. It ain't gonna be pretty.

Does anyone have confidence that the modern judiciary will apply the law as enacted by a legislature, if the law compels a result the court doesn't like? Already the same arguments from Florida are shaping up, e.g. err on the side of "inclusiveness" if the law requires a different result. What tripe.
Here we go again. Only this time it is more disgusting because the Tush dropped out because he was going to lose. If anyone "disenfranchised" voters and deprived them of a choice, it was the Tush. They may actually get away with this.

And all these leftists call Bush a "Hitler"... Heck, I think we have a bunch of Hitlers in the dem party in NJ

I've never seen anything quite like it, and I've seen some "stuff," if you know what I mean.
It's a full court press, as far as I can see, to get what they want and get it NOW. It's a complete and utter power grab.

I'm hoping I'm not bending the rules by mentioning that sometimes I think it would be fun to beat Tom Daschle about the head and shoulders for a few minutes.Yeah, but your back would hurt like hell later from all that stooping over...

No, they have essentially forfeited this seat. Any court that chooses to vacate the 51 day rule will be overturned by the US Supremes. I still have faith in the rule of law in this country. What they are attempting is like something from a banana republic.
