right in front of our very eyes, in plain daylight.Don't you all see? It is just so clear. Torrecelli will run and he will win because of this little scheme of theirs.
The courts won't let him off the ballot and they know it. They have now chosen the crappiest candidate they could find so that after Torrecelli is forced to stay on the ballot, the voters will flood the polls to vote him in.
He didn't have a prayer before all this, and now he will be seen as a savior for NJ. Just watch.

Where is Donnie Di hiding tonight? And would someone please slap Alan Colmes for defending this outrage.

No, they have essentially forfeited this seat. Any court that chooses to vacate the 51 day rule will be overturned by the US Supremes. I still have faith in the rule of law in this country. What they are attempting is like something from a banana republic.

I disagree. many have decided that Toricelli is a bad guy. I don't see how this gambit favors HIM. The dims recognized this, and that is why they forced him to bow out -- to have him replaced on the ballot. Not a well-orchestrated scheme, IMO, but carefully managed damage control.
