What are the state laws regarding candidates? Are there no deadlines for filing? I am sure the DNC has some trick up their sleeve.

Its too late to put another candidate on the ballot but they are thinking of running a write-in campaign for a Democrat currently in Congress. Or at least thats what I heard on CBS Radio News while waiting for Rush to start.

" The deadline to replace Torricelli on the ballot was September 16th, but Democratic insiders say they believe there is still time to make a switch. Any change of candidates would have to be approved by a vote of the Democratic State Committee.
