Prayers For A Vet
Posted on 09/29/2002 3:34:14 PM PDT by Davea
Please pray for Frank. He is a Vietnam vet and is now experiencing severe post traumatic stress. He's a great guy but it seems that even after all these years the memories are coming back and flooding in at once really tearing him up. Thank you and God bless.

Frank is in my prayers. I pray that God put His loving, comforting arms around this American hero.

Frank, I salute you.
Your service was honorable and important. You kept the commies on the defensive.
The politicians let you down, in a large measure your country let you down. But that does not take anything away from you. You have honor.

Dear Jesus, give Frank the serenity he deserves. The calm he seeks. Give him answers to the questions he still carries. Give hime the strength and dignity to carry on with his head held high. And please fill his heart with peace in the knowledge that he does not walk alone. We are here with you Frank. Hang in there brother.

Joining with our FReeper family in prayer ... Most Merciful Father, may Your sweet voice of comfort speak to Frank over the din of discord in this country ... may he know that his countrymen owe him our lives and freedom, and that with Your leading, we will carry him through this difficult time, just as he did for us. In the Name of Jesus ... Amen

USO Canteen FReeper Style supports our troops and all veterans!
Davea - please tell Frank about the Canteen. He will find love and acceptance there. And he can be with other veterans who share similar experiences in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Please tell him that I am proud of him for serving our country during an unpopular war and Welcome Home!
I posted a link to this thread at the Canteen today.
