Time to pull almost all out troops and our money out of Germany. And time to boycott German products. Germany needs an economic hit. It's starting to happen too:
"German exports to America are being affected by consumer anger over Chancellor Gerhard Schröder's vehement opposition to US policy on Iraq , business leaders admitted last week.
"Ludolf von Wartenberg, the director of the German Federation of Industry, said that German firms in America already faced the first signs of a boycott following weeks of anti-war rhetoric during the run-up to last weekend's election.
"Mr von Wartenburg said that public contracts for German firms in America had already been affected..."

I do not yet see evidence of a fraud. I do see people getting pretty excited about the use of the term "weapons grade". The term is misleading. Good points all, and taken under consideration. Just keeping my eyes, ears, and mind open to the best of my abilities.
And I agree, terminology can be confusing. From what I know, many forms of radioactive materials can be used in the production of a "dirty bomb". But "fissile" material must be conditioned, starting with U238 or some derivative and ideally ending with Plutonium, or something close to it, depending on the ability of the processing method to "enrich" the material. Saddam would prefer fissile material, to be sure, but he is certainly not averse to coordinating a plot to use non-fissile material to contaminate any of a number of targets, with Tel Aviv, NYC, and Wash DC making the short list.

Kholoud seems to be a personal name, used as a first name for females, but for some males, too.

Hmmm... the leaders of the western world, in this example, Britain, in their humanitarian wisdom, have seen fit to let the barbarians inside the gate. The barbarians are now strong and bold enough to decide they want to tear them apart. What do the poor disarmed subjects of England do now?

Thanks for the link to that translation service, I was looking around for something like that.

Kholoud seems to be a personal name, used as a first name for females, but for some males, too. Ok, that makes sense then that the word was written Alkholoud, as in Al Kholoud, I suppose.

You're welcome, let me know if you discover any future future terrorist plots.

This kinda makes you wish that they would turn Ritter over to a couple of ex-soldiers (in time but forever in heart) like us, huh? What was your final rank?

from:
http://www.wipl.org/wipl_abuga.htm This greeting is unfamiliar to non-Muslims. Our Quran, the only Holy Book calls Paradise, Dar al-Salam (home of peace), meaning Dar El Kholoud (home of eternity).

There are exceptions to every generalization, but there will be but two camps at the end...

Took me a little brushing up. It can mine too. Where did you find the animated semaphore on the computer? It is a great way for us to communicate--and practice.

Mecury switchs are quite common. The most common place they have been used is in home heating thermostats. If you have a good quality thermostat in your home then pull off the cover and have a look. You will see the glass bulb and ball of mercury that shorts the terminals inside to start your furnace. The tilting of this switch is done by a coil of spring metal that is sensitive to temperature. I also remember seeing these used in security devices and even as a switch to sense when the washing machine lid was open so that the machine would not engage the spin cycle with the lid open.

Wow. Every single one of the pictures is completely disturbing. Tell me about it. We've planned a trip to the UK for later in November and were thinking of staying at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, which fronts on the street of the protests.
Hopefully this scum is scurrying back home now.

What was your final rank?A simple E-4 (Specialist). I completed PLDC and was thought about for Corporal stripes, but I didn't want E-5 duties/responsiblities for E-4 pay (and with absolutely no authority that an NCO holds to boot). Responsibility with no authority? I don't think so! ;-)

WHY IS THIS NOT BREAKING NEWS ON CNN, FOXNEWS, ETC???? FWIW, it was on ABC radio news at 7 PM Alaska Daylight Time. The smugglers nearly made it to Syria. How many have gotten through up until now? Probably a lot [answering my own question.]
To: RightWhale
CNN just spent 20 minutes on this find. Carol Lin reported that CNN had not been able to confirm the grade of the Uranium. However, the pundit they interviewed essentially substantiated everything in this thread. That's not good news. However, he did offer one thing, it could be a ruse or an incorrect report. I did notice some tape around part of the casing in the CNN video. I'm sure they'll show more.

33 pounds of weapons grade uranium It's enriched. Natural uranium contains a very small percentage of the critical isotope. This item is enriched, but for use as reactor fuel. It still isn't enriched enough to serve in an explosive nuke device. Call it proto-weapons-grade. Still needs processing. You are correct, if it were 30 kg of U235, it wouldn't be packed around like this. 20 pounds of the weapons isotope in one piece would be darned inconvenient to transport in a taxicab. There might be 0.7 kg of U235 in the cylinder a proportion by weight of the whole 30 kg.
