So, what I get from this, is that even when the people have voted to have a Republican majority, they should still vote like the Democrats want them to.

If the Republicans are leading in a direction other than the way democrats feel then the republicans are showing a lack of leadership. To be a clinton democrat is to be oblivious to any point of view other than a democrat.

If the Republicans regain the Senate, we'll be back to Trent Lott as Majority Leader and the RINOs in both houses will hold the balance of power...it takes 60 votes in the Senate to stop a filibuster. The main difference would be that committees would have Republican chairmen, meaning that well-qualified conservative nominees like Pickering and Owen would be confirmed, and not blocked by Leahy and the other nine loathsome leftwing loonies on the Judiciary Committee.
