We're also kicking off the fundraiser this weekend - John's new donation program looks great and it will save BADJOE'S sanity.

I'm a little confused about this new system, but I haven't really checked into it yet. From what I have seen, this would make things easier for BadJoe. I want to go along with the program, but sometimes I send my donation in early in the month, sometimes later. Do you know if monthly contributors will be able to use this new system but opt out on having their donations automatically billed to their credit card or PayPal account?

You can use whatever you wish very soon - John's working on some sort of electronic check thingie, and of course the credit card and paypal options are still there for those living far from the Central Valley.

This is part of what JimRob has to say, "John has programmed a great new donation system for us. It can accept credit cards or PayPay donations and will eventually also accept electronic checks. We have installed a new secure server system and have contracted with Authorize.net to do the actual credit card processing, and, of course, PayPal will process the PayPal donations through their system.

Sorry I haven't kept in touch better. There is so much to do before surgery -- I may pull my hair out before Dr. Rosner needs to shave it off! **grin?** I need to be up and packing things this very minute (just for Cinti, to see the pain management doctor, this time), but my head is splitting, I have a tummyache, and I just plain don't feel like it!

I found someone in Asheville who is trained in Therapeutic Touch therapy, and she is going to help me control my nerves, my pain, and all kinds of good stuff before, during, and after my surgery. My mother will probably make a scary face at her presence, but mother dear will just have to get over it. I've had TT performed on me many times, it works, it calms me down, I like it, and I refuse to go without a TT Practitioner during this next surgery! Period! ;-}

Well, I do have a lot to do -- I hate to "post and run," but I'm afraid it's necessary. Please think of me, and send any spare prayers and good wishes my way? We're in "Countdown Mode." (OIKS!)

Someone may have already answered this for you, and if so, just ignore this. You can use the new system without using paypal or auto withdrawl. Just put in whatever you like. It is a neat system!
