On behalf of the Parish of St. Thomas More in Convent Station, I wish to invite you to join in celebrating a "Red Mass" for
lawyers, judges, and judiciary workers to beheld on
June 22, 2004, at
6:30 p.m. in the Parish Church. A "Red Mass" is one in which the Holy Spirit is invoked, in this case for lawyers and jurists that they may receive grace to exercise prudence and justice in their duties.
June 22 is the Feast of St. Thomas More.
A reception will follow the Mass.
St. Thomas More Church is located in Convent Station, on Route 24, in front of the grounds for St. Elizabeth University, nearby the NJ Transit train station, and on the same side of the street as the Madison Hotel and Rod's Ranch House.
