Hollywood diva Barbra Streisand is coming out of retirement to help raise money for America's Democratic Party. The The Way We Were singer, 60, who is a staunch opponent of President George W. Bush, will sing nine tunes for a Hollywood benefit gig for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Barbra and Barry Manilow will join other stars at Sunday's bash at the Kodak Theatre in Tinseltown. In August 2000, the Hello Dolly star helped raise $5 million for the Democratic Party by singing at a star-studded gig following Al Gore's nomination for president. David Foster, producer of Sunday's event, says, "Barbra's passionate belief in the importance of the Democratic Party's regaining control of the House is so deep that she has decided to sing three times as many songs as was originally planned." David adds Barbra will be singing a "political parody that will raise a few eyebrows."
Memories of my nights at the White House
I had fine golden kneepads that could slide on the floor
Im not welcome
I cannot get near Abe Lincolns bed
Its George Bush that I abhor
Memories of advice about China
And of nuclear weapons
I advised Willy well
Now I try to tell George Bush the things that he ought to do
He leaves voicemail --- Go to hell
I will fire off a strong memo
yes, I will make it quite scathing
All my RAT pals better damn well listen
or they will hear me raving
Memories of when what I said mattered
Theyd invite me to Harvard and nobody would mock
Now they laugh at me everywhere that I make a speech
I can tell you
Im in shock
Memories of when RATS had been fighters
They would rally on weekdays and refuse to take crap
Now theyve wimped out and let Bush do whatever he wants
Each ones acting like a sap
I will fire off my strong memo
yes, I will make it quite scathing
And all my RAT pals better damn well listen
or they will hear me raving
Memories of when our precious children
Were not killed by right wingers before our very eyes
If my party does not pull its head out of its rear
I will see that someone fries

Yep, you can tell Bubba is in the audience.
My family knew him when he lived in Templeton, California with his then-wife Jane, a skinny loudmouth broad from Texas. He was a nice guy, she was a skank. Clearly he's attracted to that kind of skirt hag woman.
