Brothel Found at Car Repair Shop (literal body work)
(AP) ^

Posted on 09/25/2002 5:33:49 AM PDT by Dallas

SPRINGFIELD, Va. --

Police in Virginia say a car repair shop was doing more than fixing cars.

They say they've uncovered a brothel operating out of the body shop, which is in a Springfield industrial park.

Police arrested eight people over the weekend and charged them with prostitution and keeping a bawdy house.

It's not clear how long the alleged brothel had been operating out of the car repair shop.

The building's owner says he had no idea what was allegedly going on there.

Where the *&*( is there room for beds, etc. in an auto repair shop? Not exactly a clean, comfortable place.. I am imagining some serious rednecks. The question is, what kind of cars did they fix? Bentleys, Chevys, Toyotas, Harleys, what?

If you drop off your... ahem... car for service, do they give you a Hummer for a loaner?

I stopped in to inquire about a supercharger, and they assured me they had the best blowers in town. I also mentioned I had been noticing a shimmy in my front end, so they tightened my lug nuts, relieving the situation. But their idea of a 'tune up' gave whole new meaning to the term 'emissions testing.' When they asked me to slide my hot rod into their service bay, I could only blush because I had never done that before--good thing they were accustomed to dealing with 'first-timers' and they were able to talk me through it....

Oh, nevermind.

Most asked question by the customers' wives: "Why do you have to get your cylinder head serviced again?" Husband's reply: "It's all about bore and stroke, something you wouldn't understand!".
