The Democrat Party is beyond corrupt, It's also evil.
And what is this evil that triumphs when good men do nothing? What are we really talking about here and is it worth fighting for? Is it worth turning our heads and allowing evil to continue on while we do nothing? (and I count voting for a third party candidate when knowing that he has absolutely no chance of defeating the Democrat, and worse, actually planning and hoping to knock out the Republican candidate who otherwise might have defeated the Democrat, as doing nothing).
Corruption is accepting campaign cash from the Chinese in exchange for military hardware. Corruption is accepting campaign cash as bribes from Indonesian power brokers, from Buddhist Monks, from corrupt corporate moguls. Corruption is defined by the myriad criminal acts and practices of the Clintons and the Gores and their corrupt Democrat minions.
Corruption is the land grabs, the power grabs, the gun grabs, the bribery, the shady deals, the high crimes and treason. Corruption is the theft of campaign dollars through forced labor union deductions. Corruption is the systematic indoctrination of several generations of our youth with socialist dogma via government school systems. Corruption is the removal of God from public life and substituting in the evil homosexual/feminist agenda and the destruction of moral society. Corruption is lying to the public about global warming and the selling of the Kyoto treaty. Corruption is giving up our national sovereignty to the United Nations. Corruption is the abuses of office, obstruction of justice, lying, perjury and subornation of perjury.
The Democrat Party is thoroughly corrupt. There is no question about that, but it's way beyond corrupt. It's also evil.
Waco was evil. The killing of innocent men, women, children and babies is evil. Torturing them for weeks on end, gassing them, and then burning them alive is pure evil. This was perpetrated by a corrupt and evil Democrat Administration and covered-up by corrupt and evil Democrat Congressmen and Senators, many of whom you are saying should be allowed to remain in office even today.
And as bad as that is, it pales in comparison to the Democrat government sanctioned and funded wholesale slaughter of the most innocent life of all, the murder of innocent human life in the womb. This is evil. Pure evil. And this evilness is openly perpetrated by a thoroughly corrupt and evil Democrat Party. The same corrupt and evil Democrat Congress and Judiciary whom you are now saying deserve to remain in office.
IMHO, allowing these Democrats to remain in power is aiding and abetting the corruption and treason, and is acting as an accessory before and after the fact to the murderers of innocent human life. Is doing nothing and allowing this evil to triumph evil itself?
I love my country. I love the Constitution. I love life. I love God. I know that the Democrats hate my country, hate the Constitution, hate God and hate human life. I see that the only Party capable of blocking and defeating the evil Democrats is the Republican Party. I see that many races are so close that as little as a one percent siphon of conservative votes to a third party could be the difference between success and failure. I see allowing a Democrat to remain in power when it could have been prevented as a triumph of evil.

What a great editorial,Jim! Pointed and very pertinent.
I noticed in the Washington [com]Post an article concerning campaign finance fraud in the Clinton era. It appears that all the political ringleaders just received minor fines, whereas FEC socked it to (some of) those who did not have quite high enough political connections.
One interesting point is that, whereas the most egregious offenders should have felt the full force of government for their illegal activities -- forfeiture, heavy fines and prison -- all they received was a minor slap on the wrist. In fact, even the "fines" came out of their campaign funds, rather than their personal pockets.
Worse yet, the FEC intentionally mentioned, but took no action, on the matter of the communist Chinese government illegally contributing to the DNC coffers and bribing American candidates with campaign contributions. In fact, the FEC "classified" the information about that illegal activity so the American people may not see it. This action, in itself, is the perpetration of a fraud on the American people by the FEC.
Below are but a couple quotes from the article located at: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/09/21/politics/21DONA.html
The Democratic National Committee has agreed to pay civil fines and turn over to the Treasury a total of $243,000 to settle accusations that it took more than $1 million in illegal foreign contributions in 1995 and 1996, according to Federal Election Commission records released today.
The documents also state that the election commission's general counsel found in 1999 that there was "reason to believe" that the People's Republic of China "knowingly and willfully" violated federal election law. But the heavily redacted documents also state that the commission voted unanimously to "take no action at this time" on the general counsel's recommendation.
In other words, these are typical federal bureaucrats at work. The laws are made for "the people" to obey. Those in government march to the beat of a totally different drummer.

thank you for posting this;
The democrats under clinton did show a terrible evil, I don't think our nation has ever confronted that type of thing in our history until now. At the same time I think that if we merely create a republican majority that we will not be facing down this evil or taking it out of government or public life.
Waco was a terrible evil just as the writer said, all of those people were murdered, the evidence to show this does exist in spades even. That event did occur under a democrat president. In 1995 when the congressional committee considered it the only congressmen even asking responsible questions about it were republicans.
But I ask you to consider that Ruby Ridge was also an evil event although fewer people died. As we know that occurred under a republican president.
I also ask you to consider that it was the Republican leader of the Senate, Trent Lott, who refused to perform his constitutional duties and supervise a trial in the Senate despite the fact that he put his hand on the bible and swore to uphold that constitution. It was clearly his constitutional duty to supervise a trial as the House did in fact impeach Bill Clinton. One cannot believe that most republicans in the senate did not endorse Lott's capitulation to the evil side because Lott was and still is the Republican leader in the Senate.
The writer is very correct also that Bill Clinton did in fact sell to the chinese the ability to destroy america with nuclear weapons. This has been well documented. bill clinton also sold a lot of things to the chinese, including american jobs. All who love god and what is good inherently understand that this was terribly evil.
But again, I wish to remind people that up until mid-December of 1996 the republican leader of the house Newt Gingrich was a very good congressional leader and responsible representative of the american people. He fully intended to expose these things about the chinese related corruption in congressional hearings and he publicly said so.
But something happened to him in December, 1996. He made a complete about-face, he went over to the evil side in essence. He may have been blackmailed or intimidated by threats to his physical safety, or even 'influenced' by sophistocated brainwashing techniques.
I argue that the evil is a lot bigger than merely the democrat party. The news media has systematically failed to inform the american people as to the events of the clinton administration. This is a great evil. The education establishment is engaged in a terrible indoctrination of our young people that in my mind is also evil.
Whoever created Free Republic, and I think the writer had something to do with that, has done a very good deed in that many people can be much better informed and aware of these great evils due to the existence of Free Republic. I hope and pray that someday I become a great warrior against this evil also and accomplish something as large, but as some of you might know I won't be a shill for the Republicans.
When we human beings seek the truth we may or may not find that truth, but we will definitely find controversy along the way. The devil who is the author of all lies is a wily character, we cannot face him with just the Republican Party on our side.

If the republicans were short of a majority by ten members, just ten Republicans in name only would give them the majority. But is it worth it if you can't count on them in a pinch? I'm really weighing the options in my home district: to vote for a RINO who is actually a Democrat, or to "write in" and waste my vote.
My neighboring district has an even harder choice, a RINO who slipped on to the ticket and is opposed by a Democrat. The choice is electing a Democrat for the first time in this county's history, or electing a RINO who will never be there when his vote is needed. The jerk I'm referring to sits on my City Council and actually votes against his own motions after he has milked them for all their political worth.
It is really a dilemma. To answer my own question, I suppose the chairmanships are worth it -- so we just have to hold our noses and vote. Uggggh!

I Pledge............................ To vote every time the polls are open, whether this be a major Presidential election cycle or not, because Republicans at all levels of government help to turn the tide legislatively against the Democrats.
To never vote for a third party candidate given a Republican alternative because ALL Republican legislators, whatever their rank help the cause of defeating Leftism, Relativism and Hate, as embodied by the Democratic Party.
To vote the "straight" Republican ticket, because to do less would allow the Democrats a chance at the majority and therefore the setting of the legislative agenda.

I really believe that most Democrats know deep down that they are wrong...they vote that way because they are jealous, lazy, bitter and just seek revenge from hard working, intellegent, sensible, moral conservative minded people. I agree with that fully. Anything the conservatives want will be attacked mercilessly just because it is the conservatives who wanted it.

"What does it profit us to remove the Democrats, only to see so many of their values retained by timid, careerist Republicans once they enter office? "
The NEA dumps moola into many Republican pockets (Arlen Spector for example)...it is high time that a line is drawn in the sand on this and on all public education related matters. There is no sense in co-operating with the educational machinery when it's goal is to turn out good little democrats. It must become taboo to co-operate with this institutionalized wing of the democratic party.

Jim,
A wonderful essay and 100% correct. There is a difference between Ds and Rs though neither is exactly what I'd like. But the Ds are evil, and our first imperative as moral humans is to stop evil.
I'm with you all the way brother!

Thank you TLBShow for diggin this out for me. Jim seems to be wanted quartered and drawn by a certain crowd for not givin in to their demands. Crys of unfair abound by those that would draw from the liberal handbook of game plans to try and force his hand. The funny (to myself) part is they are met by a man of great convictions who holds his own and they can not bulge and it is killing them. Hold tough Jim, though I don't hold your very same political convictions and you don't hold mine, I would never stoop to the level some will to change it. I respect you greatly sir.

Excellent question...if the Republicans take the high ground legislatively, do they have the right ammo for this battle? Has the socialist creep advanced to the point where the government system can't function? And if it hasn't gotten to that point yet, what can we do to return the constitutional rights that have been usurped so far...class action?
To: TLBSHOW
I think the biggest problems in american politics are not the democrats collectively. The fact that the american people re-elect 95% of all incumbents to the house and senate, that is the biggest problem IMHO. If we collectively could see the evil done by our politicians and instead re-elect only 30%, and discriminate against those politicians who do the bad things, then we would be facing down the evil among our leaders. If conservatives consistently voted out politicians who displease them rather than voted party loyalty, then both parties would move to the right and there would be very strong pressure to confront the evil.

Democrats must be stopped.
They WILL DESTROY THIS NATION.
The ceaseless lying, arrogance, perversion, and corruption they encourage are eating away at the moral fiber of this country like a cancer.
Always EXPOSE DEMOCRATS AS SOCIALISTS!.
Never miss an oppurtunity to ask a Democrat if he is a card carying socialist.
Always refer to democraps as "leftists", and inquire why their parties symbol is a jackass.
If a Democrap is being rude and obnoxious to you, BE RUDER AND MORE OBNOXIOUS back.
Always despise Dumbocrats.
Democrats are STUPID. Democrats are EVIL.
EXPOSE THE LEFT.
DON"T LET THEM HIDE!

Ecellent, thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Why I never understood was how Clinton/Gore weren't guilty of treason when they approved missile guidance technology to China.
Clinton/Gore gave them the ability to target anywhere in the US and deliver Nukes.
How was that not treason?
This one really confused me.
