Thanks, Pippin. You are always such a cheerful sight here on the Finest thread. :-)
((((((hugs)))))) backatcha.
Oh, rats ! You just cancelled my fun reply......
LOL !
Mimosa's are good - or maybe can we have Fuzzy Navels? I can't believe how good those are! (Hate the name - love the drink!)
Thank you, Billie, and to you, lodwick, for bringing us that sweet picture. When I saw it, I knew immediately that it was perfect for a pledge graphic.
Yes, now that I have the kidprint font, I use it all the time. For the life of me, I don't know what happened to mine (things turn up missing all the time from my computer, it seems). It should have been with my other "windows" fonts. I had to copy it from my husbands computer. Anyway, it is great for so many kid things.
LOL! Good! See, I was sure this was just a misunderstanding. Bears are tough, not edible at all....at least that's what I've be told. Wink, wink. ;-)
Have a nice weekend, dutchess. :-)
Don't let 'em sit out too long, nothing worse than spoiled brats.
I'm going to a FReeper meeting now.. pizza & beer & politics.
Also discussion of tactics on the range tomorrow..
Life is good.
humbly,
Thank you for your sweet comments. But, you know, I feel a little guilty for accepting appreciation for what we do....I love it so much! It is energizing and encouraging to see the support we get from the passing motorists. And, how could we possibly allow the dissenters to be the only voice at that intersection?
It would be WONDERFUL if you could come and join us someday. What a happy day that would be!
Hope everyone is having a great day!
Since this is Saturday, a day off for most folks, a time to relax from the past week and to party!
Here's something that'll help!
Now for a little fun in Maryland!
Oh! Maryland, My Maryland!
Yet, When I think of all that has happened to us and to our country in the past year and ten days, I remember the words I typed in a post to Billie: We are All from New York!(or all from Maryland) We all stand together or fall one by one as victims of the terrorists.
I for one refuse to let that happen to me.
Give me a moment and I'll tell you why!
First and foremost, I am an American. I thank God every day that I get to live in a land were I am free to speak out my opinions and disagree with others without worrying about what the government will do to me.
Maybe I should display the flag more. Yes, Let me do that! is it a beautiful flag!
To me this flag represents more than just a country, it's more than a piece of brightly colored cloth!
To me it means freedom and a way of life my Ancestors fought for and died for over the last two-hundred and twenty-six years . It represents those who took up arms and risked thier lives, some even giving thier lives and freedoms for our homeland.
To this flag and to this nation I make this pledge:
I am also proud to have such a great man and his wife in the White House, bringing dignaty and honor back to the office of the President.
May God bless and protect George W. Bush and his family and administration from all harm, physical, emotional and spiritual!
Now if anyone questions this I'd like to say to them that it is not right to judge. Let God be my judge!
All I can say is
I shall never forget!
