At least he only patted you on your head....
But the battle has been lost. The new Los Angeles cathedral is the monument to their victory. The Church as a prison; as a mere adjunct to the welfare/police state....
What the author maintains accounts as well as any explanation for what are -- in the main -- observable facts. When you say "the Faithful," do you mean what some would call "the little ones" -- those Catholics of whatever age who have a simple faith and perhaps not too much sophistication about history, philosophy, etc.?
Frankly, I wouldn't worry too much. They're unlikely to read this or hear about it, and if they did, they wouldn't get too worked up about it -- IMHO.
In other words, I really think those who hear the hypothesis and grasp the implications will have the inner resources to deal with it. Those who don't have the resources will likely never know.
AofG is normally counted in with the evangelicals I think. We're pentecostal. Had our convention a while back near here and had people from 6 continents and over 150 countries. Very strong missions program. Most churches growing strongly.
I agree on the size and visibility of the RCC. It is the 800 lb gorilla on the block. I just wanted everyone to be aware that there are other international churches.

I would tend to agree were it not that the Holy Spirit is alive and well and very much at work. I trust the Holy Spirit to carry the Church through whatever. Under the Holy Spirit's guidance the Church has survived bad popes, bad bishops, bad priests, heresy, schism and apostasy. There is nothing new in all of this, and no cause for despair. My job is to support the good work with my prayers and my own quest for holiness, however inadequate. Trust God to know His job, and do it regardless of human obstructionism, perversion, blindness and just plain sin.
No. By FAITHFUL, I mean those in Catholics in America who remain faothful to the ROMAN Catholic Church. Lots of American Catholics are really Catholic in name only, as we well know. These people will probably follow their dissenting priests and bishops right OUT of the Roman Catholic Church and into the "American Catholic Church." A "simple" faith is not what is needed now. We must "be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." Whatever knowledge we have must be used to help us keep the wreckovators, infiltrators, and underminers from being successful.
"I saw what I believe to be nearly all the bishops of the world, but only a small number were perfectly sound. I also saw the Holy Father-God fearing and prayerful. Nothing left to be desired in his appearance, but he was weakened by old age and by much suffering. His head was lolling from side to side, and it dropped to his chest as if he were falling asleep. He often fainted and seemed to be dying. But when he was praying, he was often comforted by apparitions from Heaven. Then, his head was erect, but as soon as it dropped again onto his chest, I saw a number of people looking quickly right and left, that is, in the direction of the world.
"Then I saw that everything pertaining to Protestantism was gradually gaining the upper hand, and the Catholic religion fell into complete decadence. Most priests were lured by the glittering but false knowledge of young school-teachers, and they all contributed to the work of destruction.
"In those days, Faith will fall very low, and it will be preserved in some places only, in a few cottages and in a few families which God has protected from disasters and wars."
Vision of Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich June 1, 1821
I saw that many pastors allowed themselves to be taken up with the ideas that were dangerous to the Church. They were building a great, strange, and extravagant Church. Everyone was to be admitted in it in order to be united and have equal rights: Evangelicals, Catholics, sects of every description. Such was to be the new Church....But God had other designs."
Vision of Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich April 22, 1823
Yes, I agree. We need to remember, even when things look the most discouraging, that God the Father is still on His throne, and the Power of His Holy Spirit is still with the Church. The old saying, "There are no new sins, but there are lots of new SINNERS" really is true. God is not shocked by sinful men, even though I am sure He is grieved by our stubborness and persistence in evil. But remember the Four Marks of the Church. She is One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic. To me, this means she is perfect and cannot teach error. But she is also made up of sinners. We, as true and faithful believers, are called to support her in prayer every day. We pray our intention at our daily rosary thus:" At our home, we pray for the restoration of Holy Mother Church and her liturgy; and for the purification of the priesthood."
To silence the lone international voice for morality, that's why. Hate the Catholic Church or love it, it must be admitted that it publicly teaches and preaches against the totalitarian, utilitarian worldview. The Catholic Church insists on the dignity and value of every person, born and unborn.
This article explains so much of the insanity I've seen in the Church during my lifetime.
We're taking our country back from the Bolsheviks. It's time to take back our Church too.
First talking point should be the importance of Peter and the Papacy and our union with them.Second should be teach truth in accord with the Catholic Catechism.Third, live the moral teachings of the Church.Fourth, uphold the official documents of the Pope and his Sacred Congregations.Fifth, dismantle and disband the USCCB.In my estimatiion the only function they serve is to be divisive middle men between the Catholic Church and Christ's people on earth, including many of their orthodox brother Bishops and to provide a paycheck to their "special friends" who they have appointed to positions that only further confuse and compound problems.
Remember that poignant passage in scripture when Christ asks the twelve if they were going to leave him too. And,Peter responds,"Where else would we go,Lord?" That's key and the enemy knows it.
Romulus and eastsider, how are we doing?
TAN books and publishers carries a few books. The one I took the quotes from was "Catholic Prophecy The Coming Chastisement" by Yves Dupont.
And they also have a two volume set of books entitled: "The Life Of Anne Catherine Emmerich" By Rev. Carl Schmoger These books have all her visions, prophecies and life story-her sufferings, stigmata etc. Great books.
Their website is: www.tanbooks.com/index.htm
May it long stand as a memorial to what happens when man tries to be god,or just as pleasant to think about, may it stand until an earthquake causes it to tumble down. Some night when no one is in it.Now if that isn't full of faith, hope and charity.
Much obliged,
