The Constitution shows several instances of "right of the citizens" and "right of the people" and not one instance for the "right of the state" or "right of the government".

Everyone here is 'afraid' of irrational kooks, who stalk em with inane repetitive questions, quotes & cites. -- This condition is locally known as roscoe-mania.
You appear to have caught it 'senator'. Get help.

You've exposed your irrationality on the verge of dishonesty. Declaring yourself the winner by putting words in my mouth is reprehensible. Why am I not surprised.

It was one question, and he refuses to answer it.
BTW - ask your buddy Zon if the southern states had the "right" to secede, or if he has ever used the term "States' Rights" - LOL!

I have no comment. Feel free to misconstrue that how ever you choose. It won't change the fact that I have no comment.

It won't change the fact that I have no comment. 1. Questioning
2. Obfuscation
3. Exposure
4. Silence
Don't worry, Zon - I've been tearing up people by forcing them through those stages for years at this site. Consider it free therapy - LOL!

Which right was that? One other right that the federal government has usurped is the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, which IS an enumerated right. The federal government has no business passing ANY legislation in relation to firearms, thus the National Firearms Act, Gun Control Act, and the ban on "Assault Weapons" are ALL unconstitutional.
To: Senator Pardek
The thread is on the record. The juxtaposition speaks for itself for any person that cares to read it. I'm though with this discussion, you may have the last word.

Than why can't the state trump the entire Bill of Rights?, oh wait, were there not less than a few Supreme court rulings over riding state mandates, since they were found UNCONSTITUTIONAL? The Supreme Court dictated that there is a right in the Constitution that allows a woman to abort her baby. I've never seen where in the Constitution that right is enumerated, have you?
Just because 9 people in robes dictate something doesn't mean it's right or true.
To: Roscoe
Which has what to do with your original assertion? My original assertion implied that the federal government has overstepped its authority. You and the federal government selectively choose which parts of the Constitution you agree with. Although the Supreme Court might "interpret" that document in ways they see fit, it doesn't make it right, and is a major defect in our form of government that apparently needs to be fixed.

"Read a book" Any in particular you recommend?

You and the federal government selectively choose which parts of the Constitution you agree with. False.

False. How am I wrong? DO you now admit that the federal government has overstepped its authority with its restrictions on firearms. Do you admit that the federal government has no business prohibiting substances?

How am I wrong? The charge is false.
DO you now admit that the federal government has overstepped its authority with its restrictions on firearms.
When have I ever expressed the contrary?
