President Bush began the day by meeting with senior members of Congress, who later announced that there will be a resolution regarding Iraq before the elections. Bush then met with a group of cancer survivors, including Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, and announced an increase in cancer research funding. The President also met with Czech Republic President Vaclav Havel. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Yeah, first we talk about ALL the Resolutions--the reasons for our ALLOWING a cease fire--he's broken, and then W says all or nothing gentlemen...Saddam has broken YOUR rules and we don't like that the UN is being treated like this, so do something or be considered irrelevant. So, the UN decides to talk ONLY about inspections AND give him another line in the sand to cross that could take up to a YEAR?.
Guess they are choosing "irrelevant."

20 pounds!! Aaaarghhh! You beat me to it. Congratulations kiddo! I'm at 18, I think. I haven't weighed myself in a while because I haven't been totally disciplined of late and didn't want to face the music. I shall weigh in tomorrow and let you know but I know I'm not at 20!

The Iraqi letter says we can only inspect military sites, not schools or hospitals. Kofi LIED! Inspections are not UNCONDITIONAL!!
I believe GW already knows this - the war is still on, and Kofi and his minions are the only ones between a rock and a hard place.

Thanks for the link, MJY. I read it earlier today and was delighted to read it. Thank God for the Israelis and some people with common sense.
Screw the UN.

I ordered this framed poster today from clevergear.com beneath the word "COMMITMENT" is a quote from George W. Bush. It reads:
"We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter; and we will not fail. Peace and freedom will prevail." --George W. Bush, 2001
I will hang it proudly in my office :-)

"Choosing", as in "Vermin, choosing to foul my pantry."

This is laughable. Does Saddam really expect us to believe he would keep his WMD at military bases. And the UN says ok, we will give you one year of inspections. Hate to tell the United Nitwits, but Bush isn't going to go for this. This is not exactally what I consider unconditional.

Speaking of pathetic...The UN is probably just a pathetic reflection of our leadership from 1992-2000!

I've seen many old chairs become beautiful with new upholstery, so I hope you can find the style you want and just have the arms, backs, and seats "redone" in the colors you like. It would be interesting to know where these chairs came from and if they are "real" or reproduction furniture. I was surprised at how little info there is on the White House since it was refurbished.

Well, it's full of a bunch of third world, podunk despotic regimes anyway. I really don't understand why we bother with it at all.
Now they show they don't even have the cajones to live up to their own resolutions. What is it, 12 or 16 that Iraq has broken and they are only going to try to enforce one, with a year to boot! Absolutely, completely, irrelevant that they are!

I was hoping to find something currently in production but if not, then I was planning on going through antique stores. They are pretty limited however, around here that is, and trying to find two adds to the problem. I've found some other chairs instead but they are completely different. Every time I see W in that chair, I just sigh. I love the chair and the fabric as well. Maybe I'll write Laura and see if she can help me out!
