Actually, I've always wondered why the most powerful man on the face of the earth was watching the Superbowl alone. Yeah, yeah, I know he needs his "me time" but it seems that he's a very lonely guy.

Or is just very comfortable being alone.

Guess what? My husband watched the Superbowl while I was cleaning the kitchen. We detest Superbowl parties, and prefer to stay at home.

He isn't lonely; he just likes his wife's company.

I couldn't disagree more. Only a very self-confident person likes to be alone with himself. For a man who is surrounded by people morning til evening, I would imagine he RELISHES time alone.

Don't forget, Laura was in the other room while the superbowl was going on.

Mabye he likes to be alone because he is surrounded by people almost all day long. I certainly enjoy time alone and I'm not lonely...

There is a big difference between being alone and being lonely. I love being alone and never feel lonely.

Believe me, Bush probably treasures his solitude. When you have to deal with, meet, talk, shake hands, etc. with so many different people, day after day, it's a great pleasure to be able to escape to the solitude of your own room to relax and enjoy your own company. Bush likes himself and feels comfortable having his own private time, unlike Clinton, who needed the company of people to make him feel important.

I enjoy watching sports alone. Conversation during sports takes away from the enjoyment of the event. I like watching movies around my friends though.
