Am taking a break here. Gee, I think I made a wrong impression earlier. The Birthday Cake was for the whole Department. I just thought it was strange because it has never happened before. And, I was thrilled because I knew it was the AF birthday, having come here early in the morning and having read on it.

I am sorry to be so scarce here, there are just so many things to do. By the time I get caught up reading, I have to run!

As for the Sneak FReep tonight, the big news was the wind! One of my posters was a foamboard, so mine stayed put pretty well. But the other side was having a difficult time hanging on. Missouri weather is so wonderful! HeeHee!

The air is so thick it feels like you should swim through it. September is the worst month, weather-wise here in Florida. We need a nice cold front with some high pressure to clear the air and stir up some breezes....

Well, merahaba, nasil sinus? Ankara - Manzarali Station (Site 23) past Golbasi 10 k's or so. I think they turned the intercept site over to the Turks in 1975 and moved our ops to Karamusel. I was there from Christmas 1960 to Sept 62. Loved the mission and the Turkish people

Yes, we are starting to cool down. I saw some snow on the tippy tops of the mountains a couple days ago, but more rain has washed it away. I will try to blow some cooler weather your way.

I LOVED the people. If I didn't have my husband and two children, I would be there teaching English today. I miss everything about the country. Everything! I hope I can take my family there someday to experience it.

Thanks, I'm doing great. I was shocked that I remembered the language but it is a very "easy to learn" type. If I had the code I would sent the C(with the comma, lol)ok tesh. But I'll just say it's been fun to think about the time I spent there.

Got a final call from the Doc yesterday, and I will be ok! No permanent damage or chronic probs. :-) Lots of meds for about 4 more weeks and thats it. :-))
