Participants in this month's Congressional Black Caucus conference say the defeat of two black House members in bitter primaries not only suggests a widening rift with Jewish Democrats, but trouble within the Democratic Party itself.

"People were talking retaliation," said Ron Walters, the director of the African American Leadership Institute at the University of Maryland, of last week's CBC events in Washington. "They were saying [presidential hopeful] Sen. Joe Lieberman is dead in the water, and so on and so forth."

So the word is out. Joe Loserman has no chance at the Dem nomination because he is Jewish. Ah, the party of inclusiveness and diversity at its best.

I have no doubt that there were those, both black and white who did not vote Gore/LIEberman because they did not want to see a jewish man just a heartbeat away from being President. Or perhaps, it was that particular jewish man.

I do hope Jeb Bush does the right thing and the hatred coming from the black racists is ignored.

It's a tough thing to do when you have the scumbag liberal newsrooms on the other side.

...The fringe parties are doing something. In local levels, on individual issues, they're changing the status quo...

...Let's change the puppet analogy so that it's applicable here. The status quo has two fingers, one for the left nostril of democrats, one for the right nostril of republicans. Once inserted, they drag partisans, like you, in every geometric shape they can get away with. Owww! Don't do that! Owwww, I don't want to go there, Owwww,,,stop it!

...I know what they're doing, and, I know, one citizen, one vote, one issue, at a time, the status quo will wither away. Meanwhile, the partisans can cry about not having the White House, the congress, and the Judiciary... Boo Hoo...

...Go back to bed, yer government has it all figured out for you...

[my wife] beat me to the polls to vote for Bush

My wife voted for Jeb Bush, the governor of Florida. Unfortunately, she voted for Bush for the wrong reason...

You'll never live to see the day, when a Libertarian ( or other supposedly " right " , which Libertarians aren't ! ) fringe candidate, running on a fringe party line, wins, or even has a majority, in either House, let alone the presidency. You disgusting, pathetically childish analogy, is proof posative, of WHY. You figure that out. LOL

I've been assisting the slow conversion of my husband from the Dark Side.
He's being saying thing like, "What happened to the Democrats? They didn't used to be this bad." He really likes our President. He probably considers himself "middle-of-the-road" now. Slowly, but surely, we're getting there.
