Private land owners are being forced off their land by a variety of coercive land-use policies, being imposed under the banner of "Everglades Restoration," endangered species protection, open space, Heritage areas, and a host of other programs, all designed to displace people, or severely restrict the use of private property.

Isn't it the most wonderful thing to see people from all over the country getting involved to help their neighbors? We sure need the help down here in S. Florida, and we couldn't be more thankful to all these fine folks.

PARKFAN (me) is coordinating this movement in Tracy and we need a photographer with a digital camera--any Freeper out there with this equipment and expertise to document this event???? If we do this right, we may get in the history books for taking back our national freedoms based on our right to safely own and keep our own land.

Here is the thread about Sundays event.
As The Florida Chapter President and a sponsor of the Sawgrass Rebellion have you discussed with Jim Robinson his position of Banning the Sawgrass Rebellion threads from the Breaking News Forum.
It seems kind of back handed to discriminate against the Florida Chapter after it was their efforts that kept Gore from stealing the elections and put Bush in the white House.
I may not have been a member of FR back then but I was at the Palm Beach Disaster Center every day during the aftermath of the 2000 elections, keeping an eye on the chad counters.
This response to Sawgrass Rebellion is hard to understand in light of that. I wouldnt rather have Gore in office but I would expect a little gratitude.
Oh well live and learn.
