Just so that we can all keep track here, these guys have had THREE different explanations for this event since it went down.

1. They were playing a joke. (which btw, would get you thrown in jail if said joke was made at an airport).
2. They never said anything at all, the woman made it up.
3. They were referring to their car needing repair.

I think they just plan to keep throwing out excuses until the public buys one - which ain't gonna happen!

A red herring to attract media attention while the real stuff goes on, unnoticed, elsewhere.

I wondered the same thing while this was going on, especially when I found out they didn't find anything in the cars. Turns out a man alleged to be running a fake visa operation was arrested in Miami trying to fly to Tampa around that time.

It is interesting that if these guys weren't talking about going to Miami, how did Ms. Stone know where they were going enough to tell the police where to look for them? Has anyone asked these guys that question? I hope Linda Vestor has some pointed questions for them when they're on FoxNews.

I agree, my theory is that these guys are not that stupid, they weren't merely playing a joke and lying about it, but were a deliberate diversion to protect the big fish who must have been in the water. Obviously they would attract attention speaking in English. The collusion in the Muslim American community is far more widespread than many dare to see or acknowledge. Not to condemn all Muslim Americans..blah..blah..blah.
