I'm still waiting for them to decry to over-representation of blacks in basketball.

When will they start complaining that the "Honor Roll" doesn't contain enough minority students? Oops, I forgot that requires the GPA to go with it rather than straight percentage of enrollment.

I'm white, and I never dated a black girl. How unusual is that? Frankly, I didn't know many black (negro, as it was politely said, back then) girls.
The truth is that standards of beauty are just standards of non-unusualness.
Nose: big enough, not too big, check. Eyes: spaced wide-enough apart, not too wide, check
Weight: not a splinter, not fat, check.
Wow! I'm in love!

I heard the San Francisco 49ers are looking for a few good, ah....never mind.
Question: do you know why the San Franciso 49ers cheerleaders never wear mini skirts ?
Answer: they would all freeze their balls off.

I think all cheerleading squads as well as all atheletic programs should be required to have the proportion of players and participants as the makeup of their community.
At the same time they should have to have this equality the whole time the activity is in progress. If the referees or judges see it is out of proportion on a play or move the offending team should be penalized.
I demand professional sports have the same makeup.

They are running out of things to complain about. No doubt. I wonder if the reverse situation is also a problem. Are there any white cheerleaders on squads from predominately black schools? ![](http://cache.katrillion.com/images/b/bring.it.on.cover_160.jpg)

Total African American student enrollment in the system is 14.6 percent. Another 21.9 percent are Hispanic. 36.5 % of the student body is a minority. The make up of the schools seem very average as compared to national percentages.
The real question is how many minorities tried out and were "denied" an opportunty.
Wesley Fennell of the NAACP may have a valid point, but is addressing it the wrong way.
Only the best girls should be picked regardless of color or nationality.
The NAACP should be asking the local community to invest in their girls by doing their own clinics for cheerleading.

Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Fennell complained that the $18 fee charged for Asheboro High School's Blue Comet Cheerleading Clinic to be held later this month could exclude low-income students from participating in cheerleading. The principal told him that no student would be excluded because of an inability to pay the fee, but Fennell said he was concerned that students who couldn't afford it would be too embarrassed to admit it. Sounds to me more like Fennell is looking for his fifteen minutes of fame...

"They are running out of things to complain about." My thoughts exactly. You know they're hard up (the NAACP, that is) when they have to publicly rant and rave about............of all things..............the makeup of cheerleading squads in public schools.
ROFLMAO....................these twerps are just pathetic.

"Legislation is powerless to eradicate racial instincts or to abolish distinctions based upon physical differences, and the attempt to do so can only result in accentuating the difficulties of the present situation."

The Board of Education took no action Thursday on a request by the local NAACP to suspend all cheerleading after the chapter president complained that all of the students on the middle and high schools squads are white. Suspend the NAACP. All the members are black.

A couple of years ago the (now) head of our local chapter complained that a math worksheet had a couple of problems that showed the light haired girl knew more math than the dark haired girl. Now the dark haired girl was not black but it was claimed "that you all know what that really mean."
No I did not forget the "s".

Does anyone remember what a former governor of Arkansas said that NAACP stood for? I want to see how many seniors are reading this.
