GOP: MIAMI-DADE IN COUNTYWIDE RECOUNT - BROWARD SHOULD BE NEXT

TALLAHASSEE - Miami-Dade elections officials began a countywide recount at 1:00 p.m. today, due to yesterday's review of just four precincts, which revealed over 1,800 votes that had not been counted.

Given the massive and well-documented problems in Broward County, which utilized the same new electronic voting machines as in Miami-Dade, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections should IMMEDIATELY begin a recount of all their precincts, machines and tabulators, to make certain every legal vote is counted. Based on a troubling recent report that three voting machines were found THIS MORNING still at a polling place in Fort Lauderdale, the only prudent action is a full recount in Broward.

The Republican Party of Florida demands an immediate recount in Broward - forming an election oversight board is not enough - only by counting every legal vote in this election can amends begin to be made to the betrayed voters in Broward County.

Dog, how does one conduct a manual recount on electronic machines?

I am delighted with Reno's decision, and I hope she also sends this matter to the cesspool of Florida courts, but I am still worried about Terry McAuliffe's mouth in this, because the national media are already on his side and not Jeb's, even though McAuliffe's relatives are directly helping McBride.

I have to admit that I have been sitting here laughing about the RATs in South Florida. Sure goes to show "WHO" was trying to steal the election in 2000 and that person doesn't have the initials GWB!

My dream scenario:

1. Democrats take a month to do their recount.

2. Janet Reno still loses, but this time by 80,000 votes.

"Gore was never truly close -- those counties just 'manufactured' enough votes to throw the election into a contest."

Was there ever really any doubt about that?

how does one conduct a manual recount on electronic machines?

Manual (meaning hand-count) only can be done on the counties that used optical scanners, therefore not on touch-screen counties. Most counties in Florida used the optical scanners.

Furthermore, the touch-screen counties, such Miami-Dade and Broward, had trouble with the cartriges that record their computer votes. In those counties, "manual" recount will be taking the actual touch-screen machines to the county election headquarters, and counting votes from the "hard drive."

Touch-screen votes were recorded twice, on the cartridges and on the hard drives.

Good news. This will result in Democrats being angry at Democrats.

You couldn't write a better scenario.

"Are certain ethnic groups more angry, thus having EXCESSIVE amounts of hand strength which might impact their ability to influence THEIR vote?"

OMG! Just imagine the implications in future presidential races. Those "minorities" might be interpreted by the "machine" as being hate-filled, knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, white Republican men. One could see how it might get confusing when trying to disenfrancise THAT element.

Miami/Dade county, and Broward county, are the seat of Florida corruption.

Let's not forget Palm Beach County, where Clemenza's parents live (you knew Clemenza was "connected" to South Florida didin't you?). The shenanigans that go on down there between the real estate developers and the corrupt NYC transplant Dems is just sickening.

We had a guy like this who came to vote for his first time ever in a primary election. The only problem was, he didn't know which(Rep or Dem) primary he wanted to vote in. Trying to avoid any appearance of influencing his decision, we handed him a sample ballot from both parties and asked him if he recognized any candidates he wanted to vote for.

After about 10 minutes looking at the sample ballots, he finally made up his mind. You guessed it, he voted Dem.
