Sorry. Just pulling your leg. I followed the whole thread. Can't wait to see it on TV.

On 60 minutes last night they detailed all that AF1 went through on 9/11. How they took evasive action, scrambled the jets, ceased communication with air traffic control, etc. It was amazing the concerns they had. They really thought they were a target.
They also showed the takeoff from Florida, which I had never noticed before, as it rocketed off! Bartlett, on board AF1, said it felt like they were going straight up for about 10 minutes.

"Texans believe the shortest distance between A and B is a straight line."No, Texans believe that the shortest distance between A and B is to throw a lariat around B and pull it right next to A. There's none of this "traveling a straight line from A to B". If you forcibly move point B next to point A, the distance is always zero.
Quote of the day.

Peter Jennings just said it was, a speech of great moral clarity, the kind we've come to expect from the president. Let's not get too excited about this. To Petuh, "moral clarity" is a code word for rigid, midieval and mindless. Unless the moralisms are coming from the hate-america crowd.

McCain's been a useful puppet on Iraq and on releasing the full file on Torch. Forrester has tried to beat Torch over the head with his not releasing the Senate file.

My goodness... There is a flying PIG outside my window.and that pig has lipstick on and is being ridden by Osama's ghost.
To: WVNan
Carl Cameron: At noon McCain and Lott will meet to ask for a resolution calling for immeditate support for the presidents war plans for Iraq. Democrats will ask that we wait for the UN's decision.
Typical.

FOFLOL. I just stood there, staring at the remote control, trying to figure out what station I'd landed on.... but it was, indeed, ABC and it was Jennings.

I agree with you -- this was his best speech and left no one with any doubt on what he was saying!
This one was a grand slam hit way out of the park!

Bush's speech to the UN was probably THE best speech he has given so far.It was UTTERLY BRILLIANT.
As a litagator, he kicks Johnny Cochrans @$$.

LOL! Don't worry, I will!

Thank you. I know there is a new office at State Dept to disseminate the USA position more succinctly abroad. Need to know when and where to get the speech or the document or at least a good summary in those major languages. It might be better going to the source, i.e. D.C. rather than the US Embassies at this time. Thanks. Again, hoping a freeper out there knows where to obtain this.

"CNN is reporting that Lott and McCain "
So, I guess McCain is giving the response for the democrats?

In less than 2 years of leadership, we have witnessed a great President serve right in front of our eyes. God Bless our President.I wonder if klintoon truely realizes how insignifigant he and his joke of an administration were?
To: TomGuy
Russert-NBC Interpretation of speech: To the UN, pass a resolution, act, or we're going it alone!!!!!!! That's the way I interpreted the speech as well.
To: NautiNurse
Who woke up McShame and shook him out of his stupor?
To: Howlin
Fox News reported it--no McCain appearance. Said McCain will make the case before the UN makes a decision.
