A city brochure put out in April and titled "Who Are Our New Somali Neighbors?" informs readers in bold print that Somalians are "totally against terrorism" and "take great pride" in providing for their own families.
Tax money at work. Actually, some Somalis support terrorism in Somalia and elsewhere and there is a current news story about a Somali cleric in the U.S. under suspicion of transporting explosives. As to their "great pride" at supporting their families, they are probably no better than most groups, and the information about welfare in this article suggests they may be worse. Government and media always portray these groups as wonderful, with the unspoken implication that they are actually better than the locals (indeed better than human) and will improve, almost in a eugenics way, society.

That angered Kaileigh Tara, who was mayor when the Somalis first started arriving.

"It blows my mind that they can't connect the dots, that to sit here in their little world and say, 'We don't want these other people here, the rest of the world can take care of itself,' that's why we were attacked on Sept. 11, that's how we get airplanes slamming into buildings," Tara says.
Selfish, selfish white Americans, wanting to be left in peace and to maintain there own culture and institutions! Rotten terrorism causing, open-borders-opposing Nazi bastards, your hatred, xenophobia, and sheep-like bleating for the government to enforce even the mildest immigration controls is clearly what caused 9/11.

I thought that might be the case.

Somali immigrants are the biggest welfare leeches I've ever encountered. There was recently a story in the Portland 'Oregonian' about a Somali grocery store that, due to their own dishonesty and cheating, had lost its ability to take food stamps. The owner was moaning that he was going to lose his business "because 90% of my customers are on food stamps."

WHY, oh why, do we export jobs and import taxpayer-dependent poor people?

As someone who works in downtown Lewiston, Maine, I can only gasp in bewilderment at the suicidal immigration policies that bring in thousands of these third world "nomads" under the guise of multi-cultural enrichment. Most Somalis relocating to Lewiston, as far as I can tell, are virtually unemployable. Apart from establishing a few shops selling fruit drinks, vegetables and Islamic wall hangings, most either stay at home waiting for the next welfare check, or wander up and down Lewiston's main street. There is almost no mixing of the cultures. Where there is interaction between the locals and the Somali community, it is usually of a violent nature. Just last night, the local news had a piece on how the Somalis and the locals where fighting it out in downtown Lewiston. Of course, you won't hear about this except in Maine. Isn't diversity great. Now we've imported literally thousands of savages into a peaceful New England community.
