but I think his admission of killing Iraquis during the war is suspect.

ABC News did a special on McViegh just before he assumed room temperature. Apparently he did kill at least one Iraqi. I dont remember the particulars, but when they interviewed the one or two other soilders who witnessed the event there was something 'memorable' about that particular kill. Either it was an incredible long and lucky shot or it was something about the way the Iraqis head exploded. Sorry about getting graphic, but the event apparently seriously affected McViegh. If you want to know what the 'hassashins' can do to a mind, just look at the turnabout Scott Ritter made. They have been practicing their art for over a thousand years.

ping and

Regarding the pulled thread -
"Former CIA Director Knows Details of Iraqi Connection to OKC Bombing"
- using those words in a google search hits some interesting sites covering all this. Not totally discountable as B.S.

I stand corrected.

Citing defense contentions Mr. al-Hussaini's counsel failed to dispute, the judge ruled that Ms. Davis had proved that Mr. al-Hussaini "bears a strong resemblance to the composite sketch of John Doe #2," including a tattoo on his left arm, that he was born and raised in Iraq, that he had served in the Iraqi army, and that his Oklahoma City employer had once been suspected by the federal government of having "connections with the Palestine Liberation Organization."

Wow! Quite a link. TY. Doesn't look like any posts after the Fox News broadcast. Must have been riveting.

I've been wrapped up in tinfoil many times. Funny thing because, for a long time, I didn't see much evidence of an OKC conspiracy outside those 'evil' militias. I thought, well at least I'm skeptical about something. Then I saw the info brought out about some explosives analyst who said there had to be multiple charges inside the building. A web site showed his informed opinion in great detail.

Before my freeper days, I always thought it odd how quickly Clinton had that gargantuan photo op put together. Is this vindication time for the tinfoil hats? Freegards....

Is this vindication time for the tinfoil hats?

And a scathing indictment of the Republicans in Congress, that allowed the previous administration to divorce Terrorism from State Sponsorship for political ends.

Hard to understand why those Republicans in Congress did allow Clinton to get away with this, since it's hard to see how they benefited politically. Were they under orders from the people who finance them? If so, why did those big shots issue such orders?

Here's my Reynolds Wrap contribution:
The reason why the Republicans in Congress sat back and did nothing is clear--Hillary and Bill had all their FBI files.
The recent arrest of Jose Padilla, who is being considered an enemy combatant, is key. I believe he is John Doe #2. There would be no other reason the feds have labeled him with this unusual designation. He is being held "indefinitely."
McVeigh was a "useful idiot," for his alQuaeda/Iraqi/terrorist friends. He wanted to be a martyr, and wanted to protect the rest of his family.

I don't think this subject requires our tin foil hats at all. I think it's highly probable that there's a connection between the OKC bombing and Sodom(spelling intentional).
And what about Terry Nichols? It would be interesting to find out if his wifey is living a life beyond her visible income, expensive new car, jewelry(etc.).
Isn't she from she Philippines? Connected or related to Muslim rebels?
And the composite of john doe #2 does look alot like Jose Padilla, the dirty bomb suspect.

When OKC bombing occurred, the Klinton admin was reeling from the Shalala statement that we didn't send our best and brightest to Viet Nam. OKC saved Klinton from his downward spiral and allowed him to get re-elected and at the same time demonize talk radio, militias, etc. A turning point in hisory, to say the least.

Does anybody know why OKC Submariner has apparently been banned from FR, just when his theories are being proved true? honway seems to have called me to a thread on the subject, but the thread has now also been deleted.

honway, what were you trying to tell me?

OKCSubmariner has apparently been banned because of an article he posted yesterday implicating a certain CIA official in an alleged coverup of Iraqi-sponsored terrorism.

In my view, the thread would not have been pulled and he would not have been banned had he saved the final two paragraphs in the article, in which GWB and dad are mentioned, for the "comments" section.

I hope both Pat and Jim Rob will consider this.

Both of their decisions are regrettable and unfortunate. We all know how strongly Pat feels about the OKC bombing, and what his experiences have been. Many of us simply would like to able to stay in touch with him to know he is okay.(I think most of you get my drift). But we also appreciate his knowledge of the case, not to mention the huge committment he has made and the suffering he has endured to uncover the truth.

However, Jim Rob has made his position very clear in relation to George W. Bush, to OKC Submariner and everyone else. I'm not sure anyone really understands what is going on in within the administration right now. I just really wish Pat had waited to post that article until after Bush's speech Thursday, and that Jim had waited until then before making the decision to ban him.

I came to FR as a result of reading OKCsubmariner's posts and articles on FR through the web. I know this is the case for some others as well.

I don't know if there is any hope of getting Pat reinstated, or even whether he wants to return. Some of us made a succesful pitch to Jim Rob earlier this year after another article he posted evoked a warning that he might be banned.

But I'm not sure that would work at this point.

Free Republic gave Pat the opportunity to publish his views and his evidence, and Pat in turn helped give FR a lot of exposure -- to important people and to others.

IMHO he has done a lot more to help the organization than to hurt it. It is my belief that those of us who believe in GWB will continue to do so until we have a firm reason to do otherwise. The same goes for those who put just as much blame on GWB as they do on Clinton and others for 9/11.

Both kinds of Freepers exist, and OKCSubmariner, in the end, isn't going to change that many minds on that topic.

What he has helped do, however, is educate a lot of people -- on FR and elsewhere -- about the indisputable facts surrounding the OKC Bombing. For a long time, the big media guys weren't listening, but now they are, thank God. They might be listening even more closely after GW's speech on Thursday, we'll just have to wait and see.

So maybe Pat's job here is done. Anyway, I'd like to thank him,and wish him the best. Pat, I hope you will contact me at the email address I gave you. I will repost it on my homepage, just in case you don't have it. Keep on praying!!!

There's so much I could say on this subject that I don't quite know where to start... so I'll begin with this:

The attention of the larger media is a welcome turnaround- but can we bet they will stay interested, or even pursue it further?
Already I sense a slacking-off, and while that may be an abberation, it may also be a trend.

I just don't trust them after the clinton years.

The banning policy around here baffles me- I routinely see comments on the Dope/Abortion/Gay "Wars Posts" that seem over the top to me, yet are allowed to stand. For what little it's worth, I'm one of the President's oldest ( albeit smallest ) supporters, yet I also believe no man is above criticism- I say to put the stories out, and let the readers decide on their merits.

It seems to me a more balanced approach with unwanted material would be to redact the offending lines- or pull the post and ask the poster to remove them. With an explanation.

One of the great strengths of a board like this is the access to information and articles that the mainstream won't even talk about, or mention once and then never cover again.

Pat added a lot to this board, and I routinely sent links to his work to piles of letters to editors and a number of talk show hosts and commentators. While someone else may pick up the slack, he will be missed.
