Now that Labor Day and its usual politics have safely passed, we can turn our attention to the mid-term elections that are nearly upon us. With the glut of unpredictable factors, from the war on terrorism and the economy to a possible stand-down in politics by the vice president to unemployment and boardroom corruption, outcomes are impossible to predict.

As the years pass, I'm believing more and more that the tyrants are reelecting themselves. Here in California my vote doesn't mean squat anymore, and on the occasion when I think it does, the will of the people is shot down by a liberal judge and a governor because the bill that has succeeded is declared "unconstitutional".
Plus, there is a real possibility that Gulliani will run against her in 2006. If he does, he'll win and her political career will be over. Senate losers don't get elected president.
1)Hillary knowingly allowed a sociopath to become president, and actively maintained a smokescreen to keep him there, or
2)She was lying to "explain" his deviant behavior.
Not exactly great credentials for becoming a president in her own right, but you didn't see the mainstream press getting all worked up over this. They were more concerned with whether or not Dan Quayle could spell "potato".
In a word, a single word... power.
That is precisely how many of us in NY felt when she was elected Senator. Like a bad penny, they won't go away. What will it take to liberate us from the Clintoons?
Sorry that was plain mean.
I wish I had a answer to your question
I think the whole 2000 Florida event was put in place by the Clintons as a test.
We will see more fraud in 2004 than we ever thought imaginable.
I think the whole 2000 Florida event was put in place by the Clintons as a test.
That's not putting your tin foil hat on, that's swallowing a whole box of "The Matrix" blue pills
The Clinton's may be a lot of things, none good, but they simply do not wield that much power. Their power mostly is derived from using other people to the own evil ends.
Assuming that we don't get popped by a suitcase nuke or two or more, I am not as concerned about 'civil rights' as you are.
BTW Bobby Kennedy had a knack for putting antagonists into mental hospitals. The she satan would be good at that.
Are you pulling my leg?
Let me understand this correctly : Al Gore purposely sets up his own Florida election loss as a test for the Clintons to run in 2004, to see if they can manipulate the system???
He loses on purpose, pays off the SCOTUS to say he lost, just so the guy wife that probably cost him the election could win in 2004.
OK, if you say so.
Calling the doctor now, FReeper in serious need of tin foil hat removal.
Re-inserting brain
Yes, that was mean! You may well feel my pain some day, when she is voted into the White House. Think not? We didn't think she stood a chance in NY either.
The point was that it is absured to think AlGore had anything to do with what transpired in FL.
Now the question remains...
Who put those 'call centers' in place prior AlGore's defeat?
There appears to have been some pre-planning done.
Who?
Why?
Dems take rustbelt??? Write lots of letters to the editor in newspapers, work for candidates, call friends and neighbors...maybe we can do some good?
I used to work in a call center *shudder*. If you've got the money, they can be up and running in minutes. Actually, it's usually that they're already running, but can push other work aside for a higher-paying client. Gore's team did a lot of sleazy things, but this wasn't one of them.
