Muslim fanatics sparked anger today after plastering Birmingham bus stops with sickening posters showing the destruction of the Twin Towers.
The radical Al Muhajiroun group, headed by the controversial London-based Sheik Omar Bakri Mohammed, has put up the posters in the Saltley area. They show a graphic image of one of the World Trade Centre towers on fire with a jet about to smash into the second tower.
Above, in a parody of the famous Bonfire night poem, are the words 'Re-member, remember the 11th of September'. The posters advertise a three-hour conference called 'September the 11th 2001 - A Towering Day in History'.
It is due to be held in central London next Wednesday on the first anniversary of the terrorist atrocities.
But devout Muslim groups in the city were today quick to condemn the conference, claiming it would be nothing more than a celebration of the attacks on New York and Washington.
Fundamental Muslim leader Abu Khadeejah, who last week staged the Salafi Islamic event in Birmingham, said: "The Al Muhajiroun conference will be about rejoicing and praising what took place on September 11.
"Al Muhajiroun are an extreme minority that feed on people with little knowledge of Islam and who feel alienated from society as a whole.
"To them it is all about spreading hate and destruction."
Coun John Lines (Con, Bartley Green) said: "I think these posters incite racial hatred. What this group are saying is fascist. These people should be drummed out of Birmingham along with their posters."
But Al Muhajiroun leader Omar Bakri Mohammed told the Evening Mail the conference would be a peaceful event to discuss why September 11 took place.
"I condemn all sorts of violence, but we need to take lessons from what happened and not keep mourning," he said.
"There may be people at the conference who feel that September 11 was justifiable, but it will be about learning from what happened and trying to find ways of moving forward together."
The 44-year-old Syrian-born 'sheik' has, however, openly backed bin Laden's philosophy in recent months.
Yeah, right. If they were willing to help, they would have done so by now. They will not ally with an infidel against another muslim no matter what, unless the other muslim attacks them directly as Iraq did Kuwait. Any time they say they are against what their errant cousins did on 9-11, they qualify it with "but we must look at why they attacked the US" and give money to the nearest mullah, who sends a portion to Al Queda, Hamas, or some other jihadist organization.
I mean, uh, we won't exactly be able to base troops in Saudi Arabia if we bomb Mecca.
We can base troops anywhere we please, whenever we please because we have the power to do so. Better yet, just destroy all terrorist nations. Lay them to waste and forget about any nation building in the aftermath. Any friendly government we establish will only be temporary. We won't need need troops there until they rebuild in 75-100 years. If they act up again, then our grandchildren can repeat the destruction. If they are wandering the desert armed only with rocks, they won't be able to bother civilized nations.
The "Brits" on FreeRepublic rarely say boo to the god of Multi-culturalism.

Something tells me that if a few Bubbas had caught these freaks putting the posters out, we'd be reading a story about racial intolerance, CNN would be on location, the SPLC would have started a rally, Jesse Jackson would have arrived….

California is kind of wacko, but they never had telethons to pay off Manson's, his follower's, the hillside strangler's, the zodiac killer's, the menedez brother's, or any gang banger drive by shooter's family. The churches never gave a portion of the collection plate to Manson either. The government of California did not block law enforcment officials from arresting and prosecuting any of them. Inspite of the fact that bleeding heart, no common sense left wing judges do block carrying out any death senteces, the "murdering scum" are still incarcerated.
The Saudis and all wahibbi-jibbi muslims have declared war on the United States, joining the Shitt-ee muslims from Iran, and recruits all the various murdering scum muslim madras or something called schools around the world like taliban johhny went to (paid for by the saudis), and miscellaneous Saddam Hussien-type dictators. It is expressed daily in the Saudi media a support of Bin Laden and his assault on the US.
That is what is real, not some Israeli, Pali, Saudi, Wahibbi, United States all holding hands and singing Kumbaya pipe dream.
