I can't believe this thread is 2-days old!! Anyway, go to Radio Free RockyD to get the scoop: he writes a "politically incorrect" movie review that's hysterically funny.

Oh!! A Little Princess is one of my favorite books in the world! I would read that as a child and just cry my eyes out. You are so right, what they did with that book should carry a prison sentence. I'm so thrilled that I am not the only one who had such a negative reaction to this bastardization of a classic. It was even worse than what the loathsome Susan Sarandon did with Marmie's character in Little Women. Thank you!!
To: L.N. Smithee
Roberts was actually in a movie I enjoyed, too. It's called
Something To Talk About. Must confess, the screenplay is by Callie Khoury, of
Thelma and Louise fame, and it has a little bit of "aren't all men bastards" in it, but it's really very entertaining, with excellent performances by Robert Duvall, Dennis Quaid, Kyra Sedgewick and Gena Rowlands.
Of course, I saw this on TV, which is free.

A husband/man that is worthless and dumb
A wife that leaves him for a Lesbian Lover
The lesbian lover who as a co-worker of the husband is better than him in all ways, including the sexual satisfaction of his wife
The raising of the worthless mans child by the lesbian couple
I'd have to watch it again to pull more for you; which I will not do. The concept of the movie was cool, the PC undertones ruined it.

I refuse to see it, but Hurricane has to be up there. It is out and out propaganda and lies. Ghosts of Mississippi may be the worst I've personally seen.
To: PJ-Comix
Well, you certainly explain why you thought the movie stunk, an opinion with which I disagree, but will not debate here. However, I still fail to see how it was PC. It was the most anti-PC movie I saw since Excaliber.

oh. i forgot. How about "Save the Last Dance"?
To: Brett66
A Steven Segal movie called "Fire Down Below" where he plays an EPA agent trying to stop bad, evil corporate polluters from destroying the environment. That's the one that immediately came to my mind. I can't watch him in any movie after seeing that pile of crap!

Did you notice that the Evil Republican Senator in X-men was a guy from Kansas named Bob?
To: TheBigB
You know, I'm not sure "The Last Supper" was PC. I mean, it really showed how liberals start off trying to change people's minds and then, when they can't, they murder the recalcitrant. And the liberals become incredibly power-hungry, wanting to kill everyone in sight, and it turns them on wildly. Finally they're killed by one of their intended victims. I don't know if that's very PC or not.

What movie was so Left wing, so PC, and so devoid of fact or balance that it made you sick? The Cider House Rules.

Here's one I bet people may have forgotten about... Yeah, I had, and thank YOU for reminding about that piece of crap!

Add Tim Robbins to your list, remembering Arlington Road, Jacob's Ladder, Dead Man Walking, and Bob Roberts.
To: A_perfect_lady
Yeah - but I liked Bob Roberts and Jacob's Ladder.
Bob Roberts for the Archie Bunker reasons.
Jacob's Ladder because it was "messed up" - still confused about that movie.
Oh I have fond memories of trying to watch BULL DURHAM, though can't really tell you anything about the movie. And neither could my old girlfriend.
To: Alouette
Oh, geez, The Green Mile. I forgot about that! My personal title for that is The Noble Savage of Death Row.

I see The Handmaid's Tale cited all the freaking time by people as "what they want to do to us". That's 100% true, if "they" refers to the Muslims.
