What movie was so Left wing, so PC, and so devoid of fact or balance that it made you sick?

Discuss!

Huh. "In and Out", with Kevin Kline.

High school teacher "outs" himself, in the church, on his wedding day...and we're supposed to be sympathetic to him.

Most annoying quote (from some students, discussing rumours that Kline is gay):

"He's nice, he's intelligent, he dresses well - He must be gay!"

I may have paraphrased the above quote. It's not as if I was compelled to write it down at the time.

Correction to second paragraph: I should have said "stands out from the other poor people", since Sara was not a beggar in the book.

That said, when I was still seeing movies, I was instantly turned off by all those films obsessed with "racism", To Sir with Love, In the Heat of the Night, come to mind, in the sixties and early seventies when the whole crap started.

To Sir with Love was "obsessed" with "racism"?
I'd call that claim a radical interpretation of the text.

A few minor ones throughout, but the scene at the end when Hank's kid says "and I never touched a gun again" was nauseating, especially since it was a gun (fired by his father) that saved the kid's life.

He had no say after he signed the rights away for a movie contract. That is typical. The screen writer of "PC U" was appalled after he saw the end product of his anti left wing PC indictment of the American College in the theaters and how they made the college Republicans into Nazis and "bad guys" in the film.

"The Contender", without a doubt. "Ringmaster" gets a pass cuz it has Jaime Pressly. :) "Bob Roberts" was definitely liberal PC, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

If we start discussing older movies, I'm not sure that left wing and PC are the same thing. For instance, M.A.S.H. is left-wing, but maybe not so P.C. If we are talking '90's movies, then they are one in the same, for sure.

Is that the story of PCU? I always wondered....

The movie was okay otherwise.

Positively revolting.

"Dances with Wolves"

Someone pointed out that a story supposedly about Indians was really mainly about two white people.

The Chine Syndrom is definatly in the top 10. But I would expect nothing less from Hanoi Jane.

Cider House Rules had me literally screaming befor it was over.

The anti-nuke movie where a mid-western city gets nuked. Ten times worse than "The China Syndrome". The worst thing was local and network news reports on how kids were traumatized by the flick.

Watching that is like having someone scrape their fingernails across a chalkboard.
