That said, when I was still seeing movies, I was instantly turned off by all those films obsessed with "racism", To Sir with Love, In the Heat of the Night, come to mind, in the sixties and early seventies when the whole crap started.

To Sir with Love was "obsessed" with "racism"?
I'd call that claim a radical interpretation of the text.

To Sir with Love, In the Heat of the Night,

i love To Sir with Love... one of my all time faves... i tend to like movies that have to do with education... my all time fave is Dead Poet's Society... btw--i just love the To Sir with Love theme song by Lulu... "how can you thank someone for taking you from crayons to perfume..." brings tears to my eyes every time!
