The Sum of all Fears -Replaced plausible Islamic terrorists with ridiculous neo-nazis.I have been trying to find out why Clancy allowed it- do you know?

Actually I thought a fair number of Germans and Italians were interned, These were either resident aliens or naturalized citizens who were presumed to be security risks. I recall a short exchange years ago with a USAF LTC whose grandmother and maiden aunt were hustled off to an internment facility from their Wisconsin dairy farm since neither had ever become citizens in spite of living in the US for many many years.
Another footnoe to history is that a some Japanese who had ben resident in the US for a long time but not citizens were given the option of returning to Japan or being interned for the durationof the war. Those that chose repatriation to Japan sailed on the exchange ship the Swedish SS Gripsholm. This was in 1942, I think. Among their number was one decorated veteren of World War 1 who never became a US citizen. He was so enraged about being interned that he moved his family back to Japan. His oldest daughter was a coed at UCLA and suddenly found her universe turned upside down. After enduring the hell that life in Japan during the war was she quickly found a job with the US occupation forces and married an attorney from LA who was attached to the demiliterization program. I am sure this very pretty young lady breathed a profound sigh of relieve when she finally set foot on US soil once again.

Blazing SaddlesThat has got to be one of the funniest movies ever made! It was definitely one of the most un-PC flicks ever made, if anything.
[Bart and Jim are wearing KKK outfits to infiltrate the enemy's lynch mob]
Jim: [spotting Bart's black hands] How many times have I told you to wash your hands after a weekly cross burning?

I suggest renting a comedy called 'PCU'. It lampoons every PC movement you can think of. Great for campy, funny, and accurate depictions of PC stupidity at its finest. One of my favorite movies ever. I have probably seen it 50 times and can alomost recite it. I loved how they took every "group" to the extreme - even the frat-boy republicans(I dont think anyone else except Daivd Spade could have played McPherson so well)

The original book was OK (the guy who took the dead postman's uniform found himself becomig a symbol that the country was beginning to rebuild itself), but from what I hear the movie sucked.

Dogma - Directed by Kevin Smith, was written to really bash the Catholic Church. If you can deal with that issue, it really is a funny movie. Hillarious movie. All five by Smith are. I didn't think it was "PC", I think Smith just sat down and put anything he could think in it to offend Catholics/Christians. I mean, they touched all bases(Jesus was black, God is a woman, etc..). The "Moobie the Golden Calf" part was brilliant.

have been trying to find out why Clancy allowed it- do you know? He sold the rights and lost all creative control.

How about Dave? With Kevin Kline, doing a stand in job because he looks like the real presidnet, who who falls into a coma. He does all sorts of good PC stuff and sticks it to the big wig cheif of staff who "really runs the country", he ends up handing things off to the real VP, Ben Kingsley, for some good 'ol time liberal big spending programs. It also stars Sigourney Weaver.

Thelma and Louise (PROJECTILE VOMITING ALERT!!)
Peter Pan (Spielberg...) ...no 'indians', bowlderized 'lost boys', etc.
Song Catcher (contrast this to the absolutely wonderful 'O, Brother Where Art Thou?')

May I ask an impertinent question? What are good conservatives doing voluntarily donating their post-tax dollars to the Hollywood Communist Propaganda Machine? Are we all born again conservatives since yesterday morning or do we just like to follow the crowd to the multiplex to see whatever's new this week? I mean, I don't need to pay $9 to see
Erin Brockovich to know I'd hate it and to know it's politically correct. Who supports this trash? Why do you think we get more and more of it? (I told you it would be impertinent!)
By the way, I thought Dr Strangelove was transparently and simplistically propagandistic.

Good question, but I'd expect Ann to write movie scripts for good shoot-up-a-buncha-commie-muslim-clintonites-mediots extravaganzas. Sorta un-PC, reality based, James Bond pix!

Here is my list, in order of obnoxiousness:
The Contender
American Beauty
Kadosh (An Israeli film that portrays imaginary Orthodox Jews treating women the way real-life Muslims do--this movie beats out Barbra Streisand's Yentel for gratuitous vicious anti-Jewish stereotyping)
The Siege--this was actually pretty good up until the "message" that internment of Arab Muslims is much worse than sustained terrorism.
The Green Mile--kindly white prison guards befriend a gentle Black death row inmate in 1930's Louisiana--yeah, right.
Ferngully--Environmentalist whacko brainwashing
Robin Hood, The Prince of Thieves (for that matter any Costner flick)

Dave, An American President, and don't forget Bullworth. On second thought, do try to forget Bullworth.
