WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As some in the Bush administration press the case for a pre-emptive strike against Iraq, weapons experts say there is mounting evidence that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has amassed large stocks of chemical and biological weapons he is hiding from a possible U.S. military attack.

Slow Joe Biden. Not a person of conviction in any way, but certainly willing to take a gamble politically based on what he guesses we'll do.

Members of Iraq's Revolution Command Council salute as an emergency session of the Arab Parliaments Union gets underway in Baghdad September 3, 2002. Iraq urged Arab parliamentarians to close ranks against possible U.S. military action to oust the government of President Saddam Hussein. "We urge you to stand firm against any aggression whether on Iraq or any other Arab country," Iraq's Vice Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council, Izzat Ibrahim, told more than 100 deputies attending the two-day meeting. It's headlined on Drudge. Must be a slow news day for celebrites and 'who's doing who' type reports. Is Winona still on a shopping spree buying clothes in New York?

I noticed Communist News Network only had this story up VERY LATE LAST NIGHT as per usual. This morning, they of course have "Iraq is willing to work with the U.N." as their current top story! What a surprise!

Isn't it interesting that your congressman has a NBC(nuclear, biological, chemical)protective kit & instructions on how to use them. The staffers & misc. personel on the Hill also have these protective kits {9 months after the congresscritters got its kits } but you and I are not even told what to look out for in the event of a NBC attack or attempted attack. We the people who are also the target of attack are delibrately KEPT IN THE DARK! If you want to get safety equiptment you are told by the folks in Washington D.C. that you are wasteing your money ,but it is beyond the intelligence of our political leadership to ask the various manufacturers of safety equiptment to create & submit designs for a civil defense respirator/gasmask/escape hood that the national govt.thru the DOD could test & recomend for mass production /sale to the general public as well as the publishing of instruction pamphlets on such topics as first aid,use of fire extinguishers etc.My thoughts are that the politicians in D.C. think of you as just so much cattle that are expendable.

I think the materials and support for WMD to be used against Israel are being funneled to Iraq by all the Arab countries. They can be developed and hidden there from the rest of the world, while the Arab countries feign peaceful intentions. We're either going to have to go over there and take it away from them, or they're going to try and use it, and get themselves nuked for their trouble.

Is it my imagination or does this look like the biggest group of losers and yes-men that you have ever seen? Surround yourself with people like that for decades and then try to win a war??? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
One of the major problems about being a brutal dictator is that people stop giving you useful information and start telling you only what you want to hear...

Perhaps we should be discussing the possibility that these weapons are already in the hands of cells in the US and will be unleased eventually whether we take Saddam or not.
I hope America gets the seatbelts fastened for a "bumpy night" because we're facing a lot of danger.

It's possible that when Bush goes on TV to announce that the attack has been done, we'll be given the info on where to get these items at that time...

"Iraq has tons of chemical weapons"
So does Iran, N.Korea and China...I dont see bushy begging to do anything about that? could he be afraid to stand up them? China is more of a threat to the US than Iraq is.
