Thanks for the information. What a terrible, terrible thing. I was living in Santa Rosa at the time Steven Stayner was kidnapped (my son was about his age, so it especially hit home) and I have always felt badly for that family.

I'm glad they convicted this guy, but I suspect that some of his behavior may be connected to the kidnapping of Steven, which devastated the family (from what I read in the accounts of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat). I don't remember what happened to the man who kidnapped him. Something bad, I hope.
