Tuesday, Colombian National Police said they intercepted a two-way radio conversation in which Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) commander Jorge Briceno ordered his troops to target Americans. The FARC refused to comment. The U.S. embassy in Bogota said it had not confirmed the police claim but was taking it very seriously.
