Jeb Bush Rivals Face Uphill Battle
By Ken Thomas

MIAMI -- The 2002 governor's race was supposed to be payback time for Florida Democrats.
....
But in the waning days before the Sept. 10 [Dem] primary, the Democratic field offers uncertainty on how to challenge a well-heeled incumbent enjoying above-average approval ratings, who is trying to become the first Republican to earn re-election since Reconstruction.
"I think it's going to be a very, very, very hard job for Democrats to beat Jeb Bush," said Charles Whitehead, a former state Democratic party chairman.
....
"I think we've been put in a very difficult position in the state," said state Rep. Bob Henriquez, a Tampa Democrat. "Because the scenario most Democrats understand is that we have a train wreck waiting to happen in the Democratic primary."
....

Also, you've got me confused on this statement above! Are you a Palm Beach County native? :)

You've missed the best part down here. Now Janet "let's roast the kids in Waco" Reno is complaining that the primary is not "fair" because McLawyer and Bush have more money. She's whining that she can't get her side out because she can't afford to advertise and is playing the "government funded elections" card. She's almost broke and the primary isn't here yet! This is just a laugh riot. And with the election less than 3 months away, the demorats are falling apart. So remember all you Florida residents...vote out every judge appointed by demorats that's on the ballot. It's the only way to finish saving our state from being Californized and turned into the next liberal haven.

Jeb: "Hey, MeeknMing, as long as you post any photo of me, it's OK!"

Reno is complaining that the primary is not "fair" because McLawyer and Bush have more money.
LOL....And, yet, believe it or not - Gov. Bush has the LOWEST personal net financial worth of any of the candidates for FL gov - Reno is reportedly worth over $2.5 million due to speaking engagements; McLawyer (with his wife's mega-bankinig salary) is higher than Reno; while Gov Bush toils away in a gov job paying $120K and has a reported net worth of only $1.5 million. The real problem is the Dems can not get more people to open their wallets for this race - for good reason: It's a losing game for the Dems.

Unless Jeb has a total meltdown, the Republicans should totally dominate this state for the next 4 years plus. Reno has proven to be a sacrificial clown to the old Klintoon loyalists. Gore's name is only mentioned by the idiots who will provide less than 10% of the total vote count. That leaves McLawyer who will have to sue to get into the gov's mansion. So this should be a cake walk. I just hope the conservatives focus on the other referendums on the ballot. There are some seriously evil doings by the libs in this regard.
To: Nuke'm Glowing
I also think the GOP will be in the White House for a much longer time than Dems currently envision.

Great news summer! Jeb Bush defeating Butch Reno will be the sweetest victory! Paybacks work both ways, and the RATS from the Clinton/Gore regime of liars, thieves and (censored) deserve paybacks!
