All FR members are welcome to post prayer requests and prayers for themselves, friends, family, loved ones or anyone in need.....Quietly, for my Uncle, who passed away in his sleep early this morning....and for his wife. Dads brother, my Uncle Gene served in the Army. He went in at age 16 to get away from an evil stepfather that beat his stepkids and ran all six of them off. Uncle Gene was 69 years old and diagnosed with multiple cancers just a few weeks ago. Since they told him that the chemotherapy would likely kill him because of his weakened condition, he opted for no chemotherapy.
His request to Aunt Darlene was to be cremated and no service. He didn't want anyone to make a big to-do over him. Uncle Gene was quite unique, and he'll be missed......
My condolences , time will make it better, but I know it is rough right now.
Our prayers for comfort for you and the family will surely be heard and answered.
