I'll bring the bait, you bring the beer.
Sawgrass Parkway is (as you know) about three hours north of me, at most.
Slothful a man as I am, I have no good excuse not to lend my support to this happy little insurrection. Keep me well-advised, and I'll put you down for a six-pack of Presbyterian Finest.
I know that you probably think "Guinness Stout without the bitter aftertaste" is some kind of sacrilege, but it is possible and it does work. Get about two bottles in me on a Sunday afternoon, and I'll be singing "A Mighty Fortress is our God... once more for God and Country, this time with gusto!!" at the eventide worship service. (grin)
The Green Sheeple of Club Sierra and other Green Weenie groups have a crib sheet of how to lie about these forest fires to counter the proposals to change the Floristry Circus's mishandling of our forests as per the Green Agenda of fire is good.
I have had a couple of face to face's here in the Wine Country with a couple of loyal Green Sheeple foot soldiers on Monday and Tuesday. Both of them brought up the 1% BS, and then they retreated leaving their slug trail on the pavement after a brief discussion of this Wall Street Journal article.
They know that their 1% quote is a lie. However, they are so arrogant as seen on this board, they will push that lie until one of us says that is BS. Then we use the Wall Street Journal article that shows that was a lie like the lynx hair.
I bought up the similiarity of the 1% lie with the planted lynx hair with these two clowns. They just got that puppy dog look when you caught the puppy making a mess and shoved his nose into his mess to stop that behavior.
Please tell your most capable assistant thanks for the email confirmations .... looking forward to the read.
(Thanks for the ping, NB)
That about sums it up.
That would be FReeper NattieShea, Chief Operations Officer of Wildergarten Press. When I walked into a meeting room last week, she reminded me to adjust the white balance on my camera because of the incandescent lights and then started counting the change in the cash box while whipering comments on other speakers' overheads and the poor correspondence to their respective speeches.
She'll be ten next month. Methinks I've created a monster.
This morning she is doing an assembly drawing of a barn owl nesting box she will build. This afternoon she and her sister (Freeper PowerBaby) post their term papers. I'll be sure to flag you.
Please don't forget! I'm looking forward to it!
I've been rereading "A Canticle For Leibowitz" ... mostly because I was jonesing for a story and I was totally surprised to find it on my shelves. I don't doubt that indeed the world will be riddled one day with walking monsters and other grotesqueries a product of our utopian quest for Perfection and rationalization of Artificial Life.
Trust me, you've not created a monster but rather a beautiful, intelligent, confident young girl who -- as a woman -- I suspect will be a great source of strength and comfort to many.
Go Carry_Okie!!!
"Natural Process: That Environmental Laws May Serve the Laws of Nature" by Mark Edward Vande Pol is of immense importance. It is the most significant and ground-breaking concept in decades for the United States.Currently, it is in its embryonic state - about the stage that Microsoft was in 1978-81. And, while Microsoft has had a huge impact, the "Natural Process" can have far greater impact for it addresses a basic need in American society -- property rights versus an ever expanding socialist big government. Property rights are at the core of the American Experiment in history.
The "Natural Process" sucks the very wind and energy out of government abuse, thereby freeing up an massive surge in the economy while better conserving the nation's natural resources.
We are fortunate to be in on the ground floor of the most important sea-change since the Nation's founding.
The question is --
Are we going to allow
the current apathetic slavery continue???? or --
Are we smart enough to reach out
and grasp the golden ring???
