That would be FReeper NattieShea, Chief Operations Officer of Wildergarten Press. When I walked into a meeting room last week, she reminded me to adjust the white balance on my camera because of the incandescent lights and then started counting the change in the cash box while whipering comments on other speakers' overheads and the poor correspondence to their respective speeches.
She'll be ten next month. Methinks I've created a monster.
This morning she is doing an assembly drawing of a barn owl nesting box she will build. This afternoon she and her sister (Freeper PowerBaby) post their term papers. I'll be sure to flag you.
Please don't forget! I'm looking forward to it!
I've been rereading "A Canticle For Leibowitz" ... mostly because I was jonesing for a story and I was totally surprised to find it on my shelves. I don't doubt that indeed the world will be riddled one day with walking monsters and other grotesqueries a product of our utopian quest for Perfection and rationalization of Artificial Life.
Trust me, you've not created a monster but rather a beautiful, intelligent, confident young girl who -- as a woman -- I suspect will be a great source of strength and comfort to many.
