What research led to these conclusions? What criteria? I think that's pretty obvious -
south = good
north = bad
I like how California (#38) is described as "Third World" yet Tennessee (#6), Kentucky (#8) and Mississippi (#9) are all in the top 10.

Blacks may be from 3rd world ultimately but have been here a long time and are Americans now...

That ought to tell you something about more than half the voting public (unless there was rampant fraud in their last election). Second, we have water and a majority of people in Tenn, KY, and Miss. are actually American citizens.

If you want to know why California is rated 3rd world, spend a week touring Los Angeles County. You will have your answer! I advise having an armored vehicle in Watts and Inglewood.
