"It's easy for the public to question why Tamara and Jackie want to put themselves before the public eye again and again, but I have one word for what the girls get out of this, and that's MONEY"

no, I don't. I really didn't write any comments on it cause it's too incredible to believe. BY the way, if your trying to get my thread pulled, go ahead, lol. I found this story on druge and it comes from a credible source.

"If things go according to plan, NBC will have placed several paroled repeat sex offenders in various locations miles from the drop zone. The contestants will have 48 hours to find safety at a remote building made to resemble a rural sheriff's station..."
This is a joke, right?

"And to put it bluntly, jailbait sells! One thing you've got to say for Ratliff -- he may have been a psycho with a deathwish, but at least he had good taste in victims."
This is really a joke, isn't it?

Survive This! will feature the crime victims introducing a new slate of contestants each week in what promises to be a show that will push the already expansive boundaries of reality television. NBC staffers, who asked that their names not be published, described the concept as "groundbreaking," "alarming" and "actually kind of sick." Doesn't this show already exist? It's called Fear Factor.

Excellent satire. Should throw in Phil Hendrie as the host.

BY the way, if your trying to get my thread pulled, go ahead, lol. No, I just think it should be clearly marked as "humor".
To: Physicist
what if it isn't humor?

Good satire bites. This one does. The bitterness comes from knowing this satire will become reality in a not very distant future.

Geez, I wasn't going to say anything, but FR sure has a disproportionate membership of the sarcasm-and-satire -impaired.
IT's FAKE. ITS a JOKE. More than that, its SATIRE; the author is making a satiric statement about our atrocious media-whore culture. In other words, he shares your sentiments.
